Brummo
Have work related event elsewhere, otherwise I would have liked to have made the trip north for this one. Will be interesting to see how this plays out. Montrose seem to still be lacking cutting edge up front. They were reasonably solid defensively against Arbroath but that might have been as much down to Arbroath's ineptitude as anything else. In the playoffs Inverness had the upper hand. It remains to be seen whether the respective fortunes of the teams since then are going to favour Montrose this time round. A point on the road wouldn't be a disaster but would obviously prefer a win to see us make headway up the table. Also, with Inverness likely to improve, this is probably our best chance to reap maximum rewards from the fixture.
MO7S
Both teams got good news this week. At Board level Inverness have made major steps in the right direction. We too, have taken another step forward by giving Stewart Petrie a contract extension.. Could be 2 teams psychologically geared up for a good game.
TheScarf
I have a bad feeling about this. 2-0 Montrose.
Sir Tarmo
Despite the good news this week, coupled with the potential risk to Ferguson’s job and managerial career, I still think he’s too stubborn/delusional to change his ways. We’ll probably dominate the ball and create one or two chances, while also making a mistake at the back or defending poorly from a set piece and it will end up 1-1.
fishy
We're somehow worse than the playoff games and sounds like Montrose have stayed roughly the same but are missing some attacking players (Hester out?). All the makings of a dire 0-0.
TheScarf
It's Billy McKay's 300th game for the club tomorrow. Call me old fashioned, but it would be nice if the manager played him as a striker to mark the occasion.
The Black Flag
The Michael Gardyne derby? That's it, the long journey back to where we belong - the Premiership starts tomorrow.

Hester’s just coming back from injury and missed all of pre season and the league cup so we are definitely lacking some firepower up front for this one.

welshbairn
I see the Supporters Trust will be manning the sports bar at the ground tomorrow, open from 1 pm.

Falkirk thought that. It took them 5 years to get out of this league.

PB1994
Apparently we are going 4 at the back for this… so I’m fully expecting the same formation with the same shite football. We will have the majority of the ball do nothing with it and concede a goal. 1-1.

This Falkirk example keeps getting brought up as if it will apply to every full time club who drops into this league. Accies, Partick and Dunfermline didn't stick around for long.

Aye but until Dunc gets punted we’re looking at roughly 3 wins, 3 defeats and 30 draws = 39 points.
