nelsjfc
Can feel the enthusiasm for this, eh? From a saints PoV hope it will be a similar line up again with Carey in at LWB if Raymond doesn't make. I'd love him to drop Macpherson but it's not likely to happen. Horrible feeling he'll over think it and go to a 5-2-3 or put Clark in as a number 10 in place of Kimpioka or Sidebeh. Hard to say how we get on in this. Back three looked better at Killie but weren't really tested that much . The first half against Aberdeen showed the weaknesses and the worry here is the midfield aren't competitive enough at the moment to get any control at any point of the game. The flip is we carry a real threat now that's suited against teams that defend high. Read that sales have been disappointing for this one? Shame as a pay day felt like the consolation for this draw
PSJ.84
Probably very naive in thinking so, but I’m hopeful that the performances of Sidibeh and Kimpioka last weekend makes it very hard for Cregg to drop either of them.
PauloPerth
Got to keep the same team and formation as last time out, injuries allowing. In theory this being at Hampden should suit us better than Ibrox would; crowd further from the pitch and a poor home support in what is the spiritual home of St Johnstone. Fairly optimistic due to our attacking options, but the midfield could get completely overrun. Defence is still new and a bit of an unknown. Slightly mixed feelings here in terms of wanting our attack to run them ragged, but Adama not being too outstanding in what is a high profile match for his suitors.
Theyellowbox
Get Adama and Benji both on and drag the defence all over the place. Flip is that our defence will get ragdolled, so could make for an entertaining game. Struggle to see anything other than a Rangers win here, but you never know, poor crowd, not a home game and coming off the back off a disappointing European game might just give us a wee chance, but if Rangers have the right attitude you would assume we won't cope.
RandomGuy.
There's a fair bit suggesting we pull off a shock here, and I don't quite know why I'm so meh about this game. A cup game at Hampden where you feel a shock coming v a OF side and I never even considered going. Far more excited about possibly going to Tannadice next week. Odd feeling.
Costanza
Essel missing this through suspension. Sprangler is obvious replacement but Levein seems far from convinced by him.
AMG99
Centre backs and keeper look awful, rest of team looks awesome, straight forward win for Rangers
PSJ.84
Not sure about that midfield
RandomGuy.
It's about as good a team as they couldve played, really, considering who's fit etc. Sprangler is the one you maybe think shouldve come in but it's bolder to go with Carey in an attacking sense so not unhappy to see him come in for Essel.

'WellDel
That's an embarrassment for the staunch, stay away hordes, even given their temporary home. Struggling to be half full at a guess? Edited August 17 by 'WellDel
