There's a certain art in the NFL to reloading quickly. You get teams who essentially blow the whole thing up - one stinker of a year, full reset in terms of coaches, players, overall philosophy, etc, and are back to being competitive within a season or two. Giants have needed that full purge for what feels like a long time now.
Pizzo
Bengals downed my 6 fold last night. Didn't see that one coming. Amusing that they lost all the same.
johnnydun
Watching the highlights of the Bears v Titans. Our defence really snubbed out the Bears offence, but it was the Bears Defence winning all the points from really poor mistakes. Totally ourselves to blame.
Brummie Clyde
Only the 3rd time that a team has come from 17+ points and won, without scoring an Offensive Touchdown. And 2 out of 3 have been by Da Bears. "The Bears are who we thought they were".

If you scroll down Antonio Brown’s timeline, this is probably the only thing on it that isn’t batshit mental, but fair play, he does nail this one

There is a way to go about a rebuild, and they've basically done everything wrong, and everything that kills young QB's before they get started.

I don't think so, but I'm interested to see what the Jets are made of nonetheless. If Rodgers isn't completely finished after the injury, then they should have more than enough to be a nuisance to Miami and Buffalo in the East and turn that Division into a three-way shitfest.

Some absolute Kamikaze idiocy from Levis. I don't blame a guy for trying to make plays, but he's going to have to rein that stuff in or he'll end up another Carson Wentz/Jameis Winston.

Boo Khaki
That's a f**king moronic 3rd Down call. Can't argue with Shanahan's W/L record, but I don't rate him as a playcaller. Far too many brainfarts, and I think he's guilty of thinking he's a lot more clever than he actually is.

peasy23
49ers well in front but could have been a lot more if they could have finished off more drives. Jordan Mason having a night.
peasy23
TD Jets on a free play after the 49ers jump offside, but the Jets fail to convert the 2 point try. 26-13 49ers as we get close to the end of the 3rd quarter.

lichtie23
Niners looked very comfortable going by the YouTube highlights.  Week 1 is in the books! How’s everyone feeling?

How’s everyone feeling? Watched a bit of the game live. They were never really in any trouble. Incredible to see Ricky Pearsall on the sidelines only what 10 days after he was shot in the chest. Apparently the bullet went straight through him, missing all vital organs. Could be back in a month. Post Wk 1 feelings. Delighted to have won, but a bit concerned. Hopefully its just rustiness and the Hawks improve.
