Week 2

Just caught up, hope Tua is OK but his long term health has to come first.

Other than that, impressive performance on D considering down both first choice linebackers now, Dolphins are still flat track bullies.

If Josh doesn't make too many bone headed plays then I'm less concerned about the ability to score points than I was 2 weeks ago albeit Tua gave us 6 points and some short fields last night, but we took advantage of them.

I watched the 40min highlights this morning without knowing the score.

Tua should be hanging the cleats up. How many head injuries is that now? I hope he is ok, but as peasy says, he should be sliding there.

The Dolphins looking absolutely shite all night though.

Five (IIRC) known concussions in the NFL, three of them in the 2022 football season, two almost back-to-back, then another a couple of months later.

I think if he is forced into medical retirement there is an argument that the Dolphins should be given some form of cap relief. The League has a massive cob-on for brain trauma and I think there will come a day where the NFL refuses to register players who have suffered multiple concussions. If Tua does hang it up, I think that might be a significant enough event to prompt some action, and if the league does eventually legislate along those lines then there would have to be a bit of give and take Cap-wise or teams will just flat refuse to make guaranteed offers to players who have ever suffered even one known concussion, and pretty soon you'd struggle to fill rosters.

2 takeaways from the highlights.

1- Tua is shite

2- Al Michaels despises the new kickoff

3. Hard Rock Stadium looks like it would be brilliant to visit / do a tour.

Workmate was there a few years back for the Dolphins season opener against the Ravens, said the stadium was superb.

Unlike the Dolphins who lost by nearly 50 points iirc.
