The owner.

St Johnstone might be able to negotiate no fee with Livingston so they can afford him. Failing that maybe Martindale could force a move without fee using his contacts.

If neither of those things happen St Johnstone won't be able to afford him

Apparently a decent chance we don't appoint anyone until the next International break (6th October), so Kirk would get County, Celtic, then Rangers as caretaker.

Does add to the feeling this was rushed unexpectedly, but also glad they aren't rushing it.

Do you think 9 points would secure him the job?

Why is John Hughes so popular?

Don't know how serious you're being, but it's a running joke on this site to link him with every job and vote for him in these polls.

I like to think we - combined with the disastrous stints he had at his last few clubs - have played a part in killing off John Hughes' managerial career. It must be known at a wider level that he's the go to joke candidate.

Morecambe are rooted at the bottom of League 1 with one point. Would be a good time to poach Derek Adams.

He looks like he’s already been poached.  Or maybe fried, grilled, baked?

It amazes me that he's ever worked again since he Terry Butchered Raith in 16/17 when we stayed up in the Champ.
