Al B Posted yesterday at 08:25 Share Posted yesterday at 08:25 (edited) Dallas Green from Alexisonfire and Pink wrote a whole album together called Rose Ave. under the name You & Me. By sheer coincidence my favourite male and female voices, that at the time just made me think not only how have you managed to make such an amazing album together, but how do the guy that had a massive hand in inventing post-hardcore/screamo, and one of the biggest selling female pop stars of all time even know each other?! (been close friends for years before this apparently). They toured it playing the whole thing live, and what I love about this video is that Pink f**ks up the lyrics and sings the wrong verse, and they just have a wee laugh and roll with it....no starting again to pretend it didn't happen, no issues caused with a backing track etc, just 2 people and a guitar playing live music and seeing what happens. wEEgIE bOrEd Posted yesterday at 20:22 Share Posted yesterday at 20:22 This is an all-time favourite: Jeff Buckley & Elizabeth Fraser - 'All Flowers in Time Bend Towards the Sun'. I could be wrong, but I suspect there won't be too many male-female duets on which the male vocal is the higher of the two melody lines.
