Petty Things That Get On Your Nerves...

Recommended Posts

I've just bought myself a third screen. Don't even really need it :D

When I worked down in the Stock Exchange building, there was a laddie who had a bank of six, all displaying what looked suspiciously like Ceefax.

That's the year I graduated. In another country. I knew I'd missed out, somehow.

IIRC, you work on campus somewhere - do they still put the 'f**k a Fresher' posters up everywhere? Always entertaining to see the looks on parents' faces when they see those while dropping off precious Jemima :P

I've never seen such posters.

Is that a real thing? Did you chase and spank freshers with cricket bats?

<<< 3 screens, 2 PC's. Importanter as f**k.

Actually, 3 screens, 2 PC's sounds like some very niche porn.

Well that's just too much. I was pleased when I got a wireless mouse at work!

Then again I'm not stuck behind a computer screen all day so don't need to double up.

There are people that class Bruce Springsteen in this category, "The Boss"? My arse is more musically talented. "Born in the USA', 5 minutes or so of the same 6 notes with even more repetitive and shite lyrics.

At least The Beatles and Bowie didn't rely on stupid blue collar/rednecks buying the same pap forever, but did embrace different styles and approaches.

The PTTGOYN today is the Sprinsgteen rant!

Great for a pub band though, which is how I see them.

There's a "university" that has matriculated Mr Bairn? PTTGYON, joke universities.

When I graduated (in 1986) there were 8 universities, and 4 "ancient" universities, Aberdeen, Glasgow, Edinburgh and St. Andrews, and I graduated from one of them!

Yes, I'm an education snob, live with it!

Anyone who says live with it or deal with it loses any semblance of credibility in terms of playing educational snobbery cards.

There's yer tea!
