hk blues
Australians. Been in Asia past 11 years do met a fair few other British, Americans and Australians. Must say, most of the English are ok...except when it comes to their international team. Still, gives ample opportunity to take the pee every 2 years! Americans in Asia tend to be pretty well educated and are also ok - most can laugh at the sheer madness of their own country. Sometimes the women can be a little "off." Now Australians. I swear every one of them must be working for their tourist board. Without fail, they will tell anyone and everyone how feckin' great Australia is, how we'd love it, how we gotta go etc. Strange thing is, if it is so great, why don't they live their? Someone once described Australians as a nation of people on their way back home. Agree with this. They tend to he shitebags too as an aside. Just my opinion.

Honest_Man#1
Those strobe lights which cyclists have, hell they're irritating as f***. What is the logic behind these? Surely a non-flashing light on a bike makes it easier to see than one that flashes on and off?
Silvio Tattiescone
What is the logic behind these? Surely a non-flashing light on a bike makes it easier to see than one that flashes on and off? I wonder why they put flashing lights on police cars, ambulances, fire engines and the like then? Go and tell them they're doing it wrong.

Honest_Man#1
I wonder why they put flashing lights on police cars, ambulances, fire engines and the like then? Go and tell them they're doing it wrong. Very defensive there. I think it's quite different tbh, the flashing bike lights are tiny and flash very slowly, I find the solid lights much easier to see. Sirens are completely irrelevant to this as well, obviously a loud sound makes it easier to hear something coming than, well, no sound at all.

Try turning up the car heaters to full pelt and winding down the windows. Either that or a boot to the pie should suffice.
MuckleMoo
Changing car light bulbs. Not only do you need the hand size of a five year old but also the dexterity of a concert pianist.
Widge
My left eye seems to be twitching again (had it a few months ago too) been doing it all day. That's stress. Mines did the same for about a fortnight when I was stupidly busy at work. Then I clocked onto the fact it isn't the be all and end all and it miraculously stopped. Just as busy now, but no twitch.
