Petty Things That Get On Your Nerves...

my father-in-law has fitted a security camera with monitor at the door but she's not going near the door out of fear and is pretty much a prisoner in her own home. We're hoping now that his is going to force the social's hand a bit more into evaluating her for a care home. They previously (3 months ago) said she was fine. This despite her twice being given a police escort home from Tesco as she was wondering round looking confused and the other time she was standing at a bus stop for nearly 2 hours. Both these times she left the house before my brother in law went to collect her to take her shopping. That's one thing we no longer have to worry about seeing as she's terrified to go near her door.

I might be wrong but I think the Age Concern Alarm connects straight through to an emergency centre.

Best of luck, to your wife's Gran whatever is decided is best for her.

That's horrible mate, really horrible.

Sorry but I'm not sure that I understood though. What's the reason that the witness isn't going to the Police? Is there no way that she would be willing to give you their names and at least you know who they are, if you know what I mean.

We have no fucking idea why she won't come forward now. She said she was happy to do it before we were told about the information she has and now she isn't because we do know. It makes no fucking sense whatsoever and doesn't make a blind bit of difference if we knew or not.

We told the police we had information from a witness, they said they would need to come forward themselves otherwise it's just a game of chinese whispers. (Their exact words) We know exactly the names of said group and there previous goings on with the police and have they been let off with more than just burglary. Myself, and both brother and father-in-laws have all thought about taking it into our own hands but we were hoping this may just have gave us the outcome we wanted without having to get our hands dirty/possibly stabbed.

Dont take it into your own hands then, if you know who's responsible then there are people who can be employed to resolve these kinds of problems.

That's good advice there. Don't have anything come back and bite you on the arse, it isn't worth the hassle. I know it's easy saying that but it isn't worth the possibility of getting stabbed or getting jailed for some bunch of arseholes who target old women for a quick quid.

People who comment on things on Facebook.

Specifically, the absolute dregs of the gene pool who comment on the posts from this. They say things like "simples" in a "oh look at me I'm so funny and everyone should laugh hahahaha" kind of way.

No, normal people won't laugh. The only people who will laugh are equally cretinous morons like yourself. Normal people will say "what an absolute f**king waste of oxygen you are. Now f**k off and stop polluting a once civilised social networking site you MySpace reject".

Woman drivers. Especially the ones who buy 4x4's they can't cope with. I have to drive cars from my work to a MOT centre quite often and pass by a school on the way there. The amount of woman drivers in Qashqui's, CRV's, X5's and the like who struggle up a hill at 10 mph because they are too afraid to hit 2nd gear is ridiculous. mad.gif

I don't think Qashquis are 4x4.

God you were quick, you got that before the edit. Aye, a bit premature Pheonix, eh?

Actually I didn't but my eagle eye spotted you'd corrected it and I did a quick edit on your edit. :P
