When our AC gets knocked out here in the summer we go to say with the in-laws or (in extremis) a motel because there's no point trying to sleep in a 95 degree room. It was absolutely horrible. It was a great holiday but the heat was unbearable. I was soaking towels in cold water and draping them across my legs. I didn't do that, because I don't actually have a bucket, but I had a fairly cold shower and it was really refreshing and I could breathe again which was nice. My eyes don't get itchy, though, I just get a blocked nose and a sore throat and it ties in with my asthma. My school studies the USA, and they gave us 3 questions, all of them on the Civil Rights Movement which is absolutely horrendous. Thankfully I did one of them as an Extended Essay so I was covered.
