Petty Things That Get On Your Nerves...

Awaiting a response from a job application. The decision for interviews being three weeks after the closing date is absolutely killing me. Even if I just knew I was or wasn't getting an interview I could get on with it, but this hinging about is a complete melter.

Same. Had to do an analytical reasoning test today (which took an hour) only to receive an email saying it will be assessed along with my CV. So basically, everyone that applied was invited to do the test, which just sounds pointless to me

I work in a kitchen, and we've recently had an inspection from the Food Standards Agency. Whilst we didn't do horribly, there were still a few concerns raised regarding the cleanliness of the kitchen. Anyway, the owners aren't tackling any the issues addressed. Instead, they're making us sit through pointless lectures regarding the most basic food hygiene. Today involved a half an hour video on the importance of washing your hands, which was followed by a demonstration. Unpaid as well.

I had a similar bout not that long ago - remedy was immodium instants, loads of water, and plenty of brown rice.

Me too. Was very odd. Pretty much like gastroenteritis, but without any fever, vomitting, or anything at all making me feel unwell.

3 and a half days it lasted.

Weird.
