You've got folk busking, doing magic tricks, making things with balloons. All people with some level of talent. Then you've got these tosspots, painting themselves battleship grey just to stand still. You take that on to Britain's Got Talent and you're finished before you've started. When I was in Paris last summer the streets were packed full of people trying anything to make a few quid - the usual ones selling souvenirs etc, the 'find the ball under the cup' tricks etc, and of course these statue folk.
