Petty Things That Get On Your Nerves...

Recommended Posts

I hate it when people come and look right in the computer screen when I'm trying to do stuff like post on here or twitter etc, was trying to do college work not that long ago and a family member came right face up to the screen and started asking what i was doing, i was so angry by it i didn't know what to do or say

Oh, my mother was appalling for that.

In her defence, I assume it's because home computers were a new technology, and she didn't realise it was rude. But people who grew up in the computer age have no excuse and need their eyes stabbed out.

Its absolutely awful, its how i imagine being caught masturbating would feel. Especially when I'm on here, named throbber with a picture of a sock as my profile pic

My gran caught me wanking over the lingerie section of a catalogue when I was 10. She tried to hold a conversation with me about something else, which is difficult to do when your wee boner is flapping around.

Hours later, I was horrified to overhear her angrily telling my mum that she needed to do something about my behaviour. With the benefit of hindsight, I love my mum for her answer of, "Why? He's fine, leave him alone" :thumsup2

Also for not saying anything when she discovered my porn stash in my wardrobe years later :)

Glasgow weather. Went down for the BSC Glasgow game yesterday (stupid ground collecting thing after exhausting SPFL & HL) only to find at the ground that it had been called off. Seems the club posted the news on a bit of the page which you can't see on the mobile site, keeping the upcoming fixtures 'at 15:00' the same. Managed to catch 20 mins of Pollok vs (Genuinely can't remember) instead which was somehow on.

Seriously, the weather is shite any time I go there regardless of the time of year. Had this same thing a year ago where I went to Irvine for the match to be called off 30 mins before KO, only to manage to make it to Partick v St Johnstone and have it called off at HT. Top value for twenty something quid ticket alone.

Genuinely think I'm giving up on winter football. Utterly sick of making relatively long trips not knowing if it be on or not.

Eta: Not helped by the National Trust mobile site claiming Tenement House was open, leaving me standing at the (currently permanently) closed front door whilst killing time earlier in the day. That Jackson's bar down the road where I took shelter at the time was quite nice mind.

This: http://www.bbc.co.uk/newsbeat/29967403

Sick of seeing news stories about famous people being "trolled" on the internet. Human beings are c***s, and act like c***s on the internet. Everybody has to deal with this on a daily basis, and it's not news when it happens to some celebrity.

Doesn't help that this is a case of people making jokes in poor taste, none of which would seem out of place on P&B. You monsters :P

Just don't do it when you're replying to my posts, Throbs. I don't feel we're ready for that level of intimacy.

Glasgow

I took a trip to Glasgow a few days ago, and it was genuinely the first time I didn't hear the word "******" mentioned. Not sure if the filter's gonna kick in for that one.

Between that and the referendum vote, I don't know what to think

Edit: alright, a round of guess-the-slur it is.

My Gran caught me masturbating a few years ago, and had a stroke.

She's got lovely soft hands.

Painting. I hate painting.

No arguments, had to paint inside a cupboard after previous owners kids had written in it. I actually believe john loves Joanne forever as after two coats you can still see the marker shining through.

Should have tried toothpaste to get it off.

the once white walls were a nice shade of nicotine yellow. as this is going to be the bairns room i thought painting over the mess was a better idea. if its still showing when i get in tonight its getting lining papered and painted.

The display devoted only to the Army in the waiting area of the jobcentre. Preying on the desperate.

When I was unemployed for 6 weeks I had someone in the perth job centre tell me to apply for it.

Apparently being asthmatic and overweight wasn't cared about according to her.

Women in shops etc asking if you have a 'wee' Iceland Card, or a 'wee' Co-op Card.

Also when you go to pay for your goods its 'pop your wee Bank Card in the machine'

Why is everything 'wee'

Even had one asking me today if I have a 'wee' phone number so she can phone me back.
