Petty Things That Get On Your Nerves...

Recommended Posts

JUST ABOUT - as constantly used by football commentators.

'He just about kept that in'

'The goalie just about saved that'.

It can be taken positively or negatively and is ambiguous. What wrong with.....

'He kept that in' or 'the goalie saved that'.

And they use it with different meanings about a dozen times a game. Could be a long World Cup listening to Townsend et al

Something has bitten me and now I've got fecking itchy marks on my legs. Now I'm used to it abroad, but not here, let alone when it isn't even that nice outside!!

How do I get shot of this stupid BBC Sport ad on the bottom of the mobile version? It's covering the full version button and getting right on my tits.

I also got some weird revolving ad that covered my entire screen for about 2 secs earlier; I thought I was tripping.

Has Div sold his soul to the devil?

Do you just help yourself to the packages you're supposed to deliver.

You're on holiday more often than Judith Chalmers.

UPS pay well ;-) also our kids have all buggered off so only myself and my good lady to pay for,I paid £1400 for 11 nights 4* all inclusive in Lanzarote as I booked it myself Our next holiday is Alcudia which cost £610 for 8 nights self catering.

Any idea what a UPS class 1 driver is on? Sorry, 'C+E' driver.

Not sure but C1 7.5t drivers with CPC are now on 25.5k a year.

Do UPS do driver training? Got my CPC already, but only licenced to C+E (3.5t & trailer)

Edit: my licence says I have C1 & C1E is that 7.5 or 3.5t)
