Petty Things That Get On Your Nerves...

Was bitten by a dog last night on both hands. It belongs to a family member, so trying to convince them to get rid of the aggressive wee c**t could be awkward. I'd happily put it down with my boot heel.

It's just playing.

Feed it ten tablets of aspirin.

I've looked at this photo about ten times and still can't see where this woman is.

I assume he's on about the main woman in the skirt, really annoyed me he said it was tight tbh, which is fitting considering the thread.

Anyway, I'm playing fives tonight, I've not played football since Christmas, and I've done about four bits of exercise since then. It starting off with a cup aswell tonight, so its at least five games, 8 minutes long. Christ knows how this will go

Sold a smartphone on ebay. Had a spare battery so through that in to sweeten the deal.

Went to the PO on Friday. Was told I couldn't send the battery unless it was in the actual device. I asked how I would send two someone 1 phone and 2 batteries. They had no idea.

So I had to rush to another PO and tell them a pack of lies in order to get the bloody thing sent.

I'm now convinced that they'll scan my parcel, discover the rogue battery, hunt me down to my work and throw me in the cells under some prevention of terrorism law. Meanwhile, some grumpy bird down in England won't have received the phone I promised her and will give me my first negative feedback on ebay. What a life.

The person at the Post Office was wrong:

The maximum number of batteries allowed in each package is the number that may be connected to the equipment plus two spares.

But:

Lithium ion/polymer batteries sent in isolation are prohibited.

So expect to be dragged away at any moment..

On the other hand I bought a spare battery from amazon with no trouble???

Yesterday was the last day of winter Down Under and it was a glorious sunny mid 20's in South Oz. Today is the 1st day of Spring (cue Harry Secombe) and it's pissing down and fucking freezing.

Maybe in Adelaide it is. In Sydney it was lovely, 22 and no rain in sight. Which was nice given it's been chucking it down for something like 2 weeks.
