I have never, ever seen anything like this before. Big chunks of text identical, or as near as. The student got a bunch of extra marks for finding that out! They're in Malaysia and one of them got back to me to day he graduated from the uni I teach at back in 1981. Sadly I’m not that shocked they tried it - it cools even be that it’s not them, paper have been attributed to academics before who knew nothing about them. I am a bit surprised that the journal editors didn’t pick it up. Stick full size chocolate bars in selection boxes. If I want mini-sweets I’ll fire into the celebrations.
