Boo Khaki
Seemingly helmets are not compulsory in ICC competitions, but surely in the interest of player safety the Umps should have considered him to have been ready to face the next delivery and then given him extra leeway to replace his broken equipment. Agree it's a nonsense, and aye, the Umps should have dingied Bangladesh. A firm "Not Out" in response to any appeal should have been enough.
peasy23
Just find it utterly bizarre that Matthews was dismissed for that, but innings in all formats take forever because of the endless tinkering with gloves, committee meetings of batsmen & bowling units etc. As was pointed out on Twitter, he could have stuck his helmet on, faced 1 ball, then nobody would have batted an eyelid at him taking 5 minutes to change it.

Maxwell doing his best to win it on one leg, not quite sure what the injury is but he can hardly move. He has just hit the deck again after running a single. He's currently on 147 from 101 balls. peasy23
Maxwell gets on to 155 with two boundaries from shots with zero footwork.
peasy23
It's hovering around the run a ball mark for Australia but it's going to have be done in boundaries as Maxwell can't walk never mind run. peasy23
Lord knows how he generates so much power just with his arms, Maxwell on to 176, highest score of the tourney.

FuzzyBear
That must be close to the best ODI knock ever - absolutely imcredible. Unbroken stand of 202 and Cummins got 12 .
Marten
I can't quite believe what I just watched. Wow, just wow. Take a bow Glenn Maxwell, that was exceptional.

Why did not one bowler try to bowl wide of off stump and try to make maxwell move? Can't take too much away from that amazing knock, but the decision making by Afghanistan was poor
Swarley
Typical. Couldn't sleep last night so stayed up and watched some of the Australia Afghanistan game. When I turned off Australia were 4-50 odd and neither Maxwell nor Labuschagne looked like they were going to do anything. Afghanistan were 80% chance of winning. Wake up this morning to see that The Big Show went nuts!

peasy23
New Zealand with a big win over Sri Lanka, Sri Lanka all out for 171 in 46.4 overs an NZ chasing it down in 23.2 overs. It puts them on 10 points but also gives their NRR a boost and makes it very difficult for Pakistan or Afghanistan to overhaul them.
Boo Khaki
You forgetting Pakistan's final fixture is against England? No NRR deficit is insurmountable.
