peasy23
India 309-5 at tea, 63 runs ahead. Australia were 54-5 at Brisbane chasing the Windies first innings total of 311, but have recovered a bit to be 161-7 at dinner.
peasy23
India only add 15 runs this morning, all out with a lead of 190. I'll be shocked if India have to bat again.
die hard doonhamer
100 for Pope. England leading by 53 runs with 5 wickets in hand. Current partnership between Pope and Foakes is key.
Savage Henry
Fair fucks to Ollie Pope for almost single handedly turning this into a competitive game. If England can some summon up another 100 runs from here it becomes at least a challenge for India.

The Foakes wicket showed that it’s starting to do some interesting things in terms of variable bounce. Won’t be a nice track to bat last on.

Aussies do bat a long way down and the Windies are short a bowler, so probably should see this out. England making a stab of it, which I did not expect to see at all.
die hard doonhamer
126 run lead at the close with 4 wickets left. Ollie Pope absolutely outstanding, unbeaten on 148. I didn’t expect this game to last beyond today.

Surely has to go against the spirit of the game that England fielded a completely different Ollie Pope for the second innings?

I suspect he has no idea either.

peasy23
9 down for England with Pope on 196 and a lead of 230. Hopefully Leach can hang around for Pope to get over 200.
peasy23
Pope plays one on to the stumps himself to be out for 196, one of the all time great innings by an English player in India. Fair play to him, never saw that coming after how he looked in the first innings.
peasy23
Shamar Joseph has 6-54 as the Aussies need 38 to win with 2 wickets in hand.
Eednud
Watched the NZ Women’s Super Smash Final earlier today and Central Hinds’ Rosemary Mair took 4 wickets for 5 runs from her 4 overs, including 19 dot balls. They still lost though by 1 run to Wellington Blaze.
Arthur Orton
The West Indies win has made me very happy. The joy they showed at the final whistle shows how much sport means to people. Fantastic.
PB1994
Joe Root picks up the fifth wicket. Some effort this has been from England to even give themselves a chance of winning.
die hard doonhamer
England could actually do this. Did not see them being in the game at all after the first innings, fair play to them.
