Australia heading for big 1st innings score 3/371 Clarke 111 Smith 71

Graeme Smith has announced his retirement from international cricket effective from the end of the test match. Maybe that will inspire South Africa to dig in for a draw but their chances look slim.

Didn't see that coming.

Bit of a cliche, but he really did get every ounce strung out of the ability he has. Still only 33 but must've been captain nearly 10 years.

Who's next for the Aussies to retire?

In Cape Town Aussies win 3rd Test by 245 runs with 27 balls left in the day Win series 2-1.

That Australia win ended South Africa's five-year unbeaten run and sends Graeme Smith into retirement with a defeat.

The final ODI between England and West Indies is currently in play with England batting with a score of 160-4 after 32 overs.

South Australian lose by innings & 136 runs to Tasmania (they made 651 with Cosgrove 110 against his old State & Gulbis 229) with day to spare so missing out on making Shield Final for 1st time in 16 or so years. No thanks to SA captain Johan Botha being banned from this game for ball tampering in previous game.
