peasy23
England now 45-4 after Trott and Taylor conspire to bring about an absolutely ridiculous run out.
peasy23
Lively knock by Bairstow earlier on and now from Broad (36 from 38 balls) has kept England in with an outside chance, now 199-6 with 38 overs left to play today. New ball due in 15 overs time, which the Saffers will be dying for.
peasy23
Prior and Swann now taking the game to the Saffers, 52 runs from the last 7 overs, new ball can't come quickly enough for them now. England need 73 from 26 overs.
Kilwinning Ranger
Tahir he has gave South Africa no control I have a feeling England are going to do this
peasy23
Daft run out again by England, Swann this time walking in. Could be game over now as the new ball is due in 8 balls time.

peasy23
And Prior is out then back in again as it turns out to be a no ball. Still need 62 from 24 overs.

Kilwinning Ranger
He is Brillant A superb overall performance from South Africa although it did look about a hour ago that England were going to pull it off Good to see Bairstow get runs and just hope the media give Credit where it is due.

Kilwinning Ranger
Bairstow did fine in his place Pietersen played in the first test what was the result? I think while Strauss is captain Pietersen will find it very hard to get his place back.
Savage Henry
Thought England's tail end were magnificent today. Fair play to SA, best team on the planet, but Engkand are clearly second. Incidentally, Matt Prior is the best wicketkeeper/ batsman going. By a mile. Top player. Edited August 21, 2012 by Savage Henry

Aubrey Maturin
Series defeat. missed KP for sure Not really. The damage he has caused to morale and team cohesion is much more than he has contributed to the team in recent seasons. Other than one big innings per series and a couple of reasonable ones the contribution that KP has made to the england side over the last few years has diminished. In fact in recent seasons there have been regular calls to bin him from test and odi side due to poor runs of form. Fair enough he has great ability, however how many times does he get into position to score a huge tonne only for his massive ego to get in the way and he holes out to a left arm crap spinner - paul harris anyone. The clown thinks he is bigger than the team - nobody is. He either shapes up, begs for forgiveness and learns a bit of humility or he pisses off into the sunset and plays IPL, and never leaves the legacy in international cricket that his ability and ego wants
