Well that's a pleasing result. Was that young spinner playing, lad that gave England a bit of a roasting?

Mehidy Hasan Miraz is probably the bowler you're thinking of. He took 3/62 in 1st innings then 2/80 in the 2nd.

West Indies get their first test win in five years and Bangladesh their first test win against Australia ever in the space of 24 hours. That's got to be good for test cricket.

Defo.....it keeps getting written off but aside from the issues that are routinely and correctly highlighted here its still captivating.

England go with an unchanged 11 for the final Windies test, has to be Westley's last chance.

Ottis Gibson is leaving to take over as South Africa head coach after this test. Jason Gillespie is the early favourite to replace him as the fast bowling coach.

Well deserved promotion for Gibson and Gillespie would be quite a coup for England

Well, it could be a terrorist incident. Or it could just be someone being a c**t. I suppose it could be someone who had a spread bet on how many runs in the innings!

Of course it could be. But surely after ten mins or so - you come to the conclusion that's it's some lone weirdo.

I'm fine with them coming off the pitch and having the surrounding area searched a bit.

But pretty soon you realise that it's not an ongoing threat. I can't see why the game was abandoned. It's not like it's a known terrorist strategy.

To be honest, firing a single crossbow bolt into a ground during a County Championship match is about as far from a mass casualty attack as it's possible to get. You could probably have fired artillery into the stands and not hit anyone.

It hit the far more densely populated part of the ground, the pitch.
