die hard doonhamer
Sounded like a total stroll. Good for Woakes to get runs at 3. Root becomes only the second England player to score a ton and take 2 wickets in a world cup match. Moeen Ali is the other.
Sir Tarmo Kink
Easy for England and it should be more of the same the next 2 games against Afghanistan and Sri Lanka.
Sir Tarmo Kink
Aussies 100-2 after 23 with de Silva taking the wickets of Warner and Khawaja. Smith and Finch in now.

Kind of have the feeling Australia are batting Sri Lanka out of the game here.
Fuctifano
If NZ beat the Windies on Wednesday that's basically the final 4 sorted.

This is gonna be a big score, Finch and Smith going for it more now with plenty of wickets to spare.
Sir Tarmo Kink
Finch makes the highest score of the tournament so far and at the moment looks on his way to a double century. Edit - totally jinxed it for him
Savage Henry
That’s a brilliant, brilliant piece of fielding for the run out. No shame on the batsmen’s parts. Terrific.
Sir Tarmo Kink
Been some funny batting orders this week. Woakes came in at 3 for England and today South Africa put Phehlukwayo in at 3!
Savage Henry
Pakistan's decision to ask India to bat is already looking a bit dodgy.
peasy23
Pakistan's decision to ask India to bat is already looking a bit dodgy. 146-1 at halfway so looking easily capable of going close to 350.Over 600k ticket applications were made for today's match.

Even the England vs India games have a bit more celebration about them.
Bully Wee Villa
Thus could be a bit of an anticlimax if India win at a canter. Mon Pakistan FFS.
peasy23
Rohit Sharma brings a brilliant innings to a close by playing an utterly shite shot which was easily caught. He goes for 140, India 234-2 and should really be piling it on now.
peasy23
248-2 with 10 overs left, highest score of the tourney so far could be on the cards. Pakistan have been poor in the field yet again. Shitebag decision to put India in after winning the toss, I'm sure India would have been delighted to bat first.
trainspotter
The biggest concern about the rain delay is that it gives Sky more opportunities to show that awful Star Tours advert.
Sir Tarmo Kink
Dhoni out for 1 is a shock
die hard doonhamer
India finish up on 336-5. That feels around about par. If Pakistan can get through the first 15-20 overs without losing more than a wicket then this could be very close.
Sir Tarmo Kink
India are sensational with the bat even without Dhawan playing and Dhoni only getting 1. If Kohli hadn’t walked off the field that could have been 350+. Can’t see Pakistan getting close to it to be honest. They’re capable of 300+ but India’s bowling attack is very good.
Sir Tarmo Kink
Kumar goes off injured and Shankar comes in to bowl, takes Imam on an LBW first ball. 13-1.
