Mark Connolly
Understandably, the amateur champion is shitting himself.
peasy23
I've gone for the standard each way on Shuffles, plus Webb Simpson, Casey and Thomas.
Jim McLean's Ghost
Seems like no one took account of lack of fans, grandstands etc saving players who hit well off line. Plenty of holes in majors have little punishment for bad shots when there is trampled down rough and line of sight drops.

Yeah, very few of the fan favourites will have a wild drive that somehow ends up back in the fairway this week.
Distant Doonhamer
Back to back birdies for DeChambeau. Decent effort TBF. Still hoping he screws up again though.
quickoverayard
Bryson now 16/1 from 8/1 favourite.Still worth a punt I have a £10 each way on Wolff at 40/1
Mark Connolly
Bryson takes 3 wood to make sure he hits the fairway at 18. Bryson fucks it into the trees on the left. Pleasing.
Bring Back Paddy Flannery
Dechambeau has been absolutely wild off the tee. He’s almost talked himself into having to try and skelp it every single time and it’s doing him no favours. Fanny.
Wee-Bey
Just switched it on to see him carve that 3wd into the trees on 18.
Mark Connolly
No matter what you think of him as a person, golf tournaments are always better when Tiger's name is on the first page of the leaderboard
lichtie23
Some lovely stuff from Tiger so far

I would be absolutely delighted to see him struggle when he was in his prime, as the saying go’s everyone hates teams/players that dominate. He is simply the GOAT and I now realise how lucky I am to have seen him.
lichtie23
Just switched it on to see him carve that 3wd into the trees on 18. And he still ends up with a decent birdie chance
Distant Doonhamer
Has McGinley really just used the term “suck the ball off” with regards to Tiger using the slope on 16th to get near the pin!

I saw him at Turnberry in 2009, when he obviously wasn't at his best, but that swing was amazing, as was the sound the ball made off the driver. Would be an interesting thread on here - which greats of sport have you seen in person?

quickoverayard
Tiger is playing gloriously... he’s just keeping things simple. Hope he can keep it up
Jim McLean's Ghost
Looking at the scoring it seems like that without the rock hard greens Augusta is a piece of pish.

They'll have the drying system fired up overnight to dry them out again. Anyone else think it looked like Poulter had sat in a puddle?
Distant Doonhamer
To be fair to DeChambeau that’s a very decent recovery from a dodgy start. So far.
