Bring Back Paddy Flannery
When it comes to golf the Americans as a team are the most unlikeable c***s on the planet. They are terrible losers and the crowd are absolutely unbearable, even more so than they are during a normal PGA event. They are a complete circus. Now we even have the referee to add to the unlikeable c**t list.
Ro Sham Bo
Have there not been 2 or 3 controversial incidents like this in recent Solheim Cups? It seems to be worse than the Ryder Cup for that sort of thing.

Distant Doonhamer
Have there not been 2 or 3 controversial incidents like this in recent Solheim Cups? It seems to be worse than the Ryder Cup for that sort of thing. Looking back certainly a couple of incidents Incident in 2015 which enraged the Americans in a four-ball match. American Alison Lee was playing with Brittany Lincicome against Pettersen and Charley Hull. The game was all square on the 17th hole, and Lee had a putt to win. She missed, and thought she heard from her competitors that the 18-inch putt she had left was conceded. She picked up the ball, and Pettersen said the putt had not been conceded. Pettersen and Hull thus won the hole and then won 18th hole to win match 2 up. Pettersen was widely criticised and issued an apology the next day. Another controversy in 2000. Annika Sorenstam was playing in the anchor match alongside Janice Moodie against Americans Pat Hurst and Kelly Robbins. On the 13th hole of their closely contested match, Sorenstam chipped in for birdie from just off the green, bringing the match back to all square. However the Americans claimed Sorenstam had played out of turn because it was Robbins who was actually away. Sorenstam was required to replay her shot. Predictably, she did not chip in the second time around, and she and Moodie eventually lost the match 2 and 1.
peasy23
A T8th place finish (at the moment) for Scott Jamieson doesn't look spectacular, but it will lift him over 20 places on the road to Dubai standings and more importantly well above the magic number of 126th.

Nicolai Hjogaard on course to emulate his brother last week in what would surely be a golfing first. Grant Forrest and Calum Hill tied for 36th. Hill made plenty of birdies this week but threw in 3 doubles and a triple as well.

Ro Sham Bo
Hojgaard gets it done, just. Cracking birdie on the last after looking like he was falling apart over the previous 3 or 4 holes.

Golf was definitely a sport which was better with nobody there to shout a lot of shite.
peasy23
We had a two round competition on this weekend. Couldn't make it yesterday because of the football, but played today and hit an 84 for a nett 66, best round I've had since I joined Bishopbriggs 4 years ago.Second round in a row with nothing worse than a 6 on the card. Score differential of 12.5 replacing one of 21.1, so my current index of 17.7 should take a battering.
