One thing that always stuns me about Augusta is how cheap the onsite food and drink is compared to other sporting events.c0158e463d508d3c4afe9c760301b44a.jpg

Ach with the members fees they can afford to have cheap catering plus it's all there own none of that outside burger vans for the pampered patrons 😉

Tuesday medal looking dodgy (ok, its already cancelled)

its been a terrible start to the season - tried to play my first medal last midweek and course got closed as I looked for my white ball in the snow going up the first .  Then Sunday medal cancelled due to frost on greens and now this.

Was due to be playing tonight myself, forecast doesn't look too bad Friday, Saturday, Sunday morn, so hopefully get Sunday's medal in.

Played a couple of Sunday's ago and the course was in great nick considering the time of year, so hopefully even if the bad weather does run all the way through April it shouldn't have nearly as bad an effect as last year.

jj spawn ?

A rather low key Valero Texas Open ended with JJ Spaun claiming his 1st tour title. JJ (short for Jim Jefferies) jumps from 242 to 103 in the OWGR, which will surely spawn many more opportunities for him.

We're finally here. Rae's Creek, Eisenhower's Tree, Magnolia Lane, Amen Corner, azaleas and dogwoods, scary greens, domestic light beers for $4 and the Green Jacket. HWFG.

There's a couple of changes to the course this year with the 11th and 15th lengthened. Heavy rainfall is expected on Wednesday, so the course should play soft initially and firm up nicely over the weekend. Gusts of up to 30 mph too, so a winning score between -8 and -12 imo. This could be the most open Masters in recent memory, with little between the top dozen or so golfers in the world. It's also worth noting that no one outside the world's top 29 has won here since Angel Cabrera in 2009.

A reminder to get your transfers in before tee off. We're going triple points here.

**Fantasy Golf League**

The Road to Augusta

The race is over and @Day of the Lords is a worthy winner of the 1st honour of the season, receiving the Green Velour Jacket from defending champion @J_Stewart.

Congratulations. You have a £10 (2x£5) free bet to use on any Skybet Masters market. Let me know what you fancy.

I quite fancy Johnson and Hovland as E/w bets.

Got a stoater of a Saturday lined up, playing a lunchtime fourball at the Kings Course for the first time. Afterwards, the stars have aligned somehow as Mrs Jude is away out and the wee one is away to his Grans for the night, so the 4 of us are back to mine with a carryout to watch the Masters.

Between work and family life I’ve not played anywhere near as much as I would’ve liked to over the winter so it might be a bit of a tough round but looking forward to it.

Thanks man, brilliant work to organise all this. Frankly I've been a spawny b*****d, however I'll gratefully accept those free bets

£5 on Rory McIlroy to miss the cut

£2.50 E/W on Will Zalatoris

(I understand the first of those coming up will probably result in the second being voided due to extensive flooding caused by Paul McGinley's tears)

ETA: Transfers:

PGA List: Fire Fowler into the fucking sun, bring in Max Homa

World List: Higgo to be launched, Bland to bore his way into my team

Golf holiday to Vilamoura Wednesday-Monday next week. 27-36 holes a day, pints and Masters at night. It’s only Saturday and I’m already rocking a semi thinking about it. If Tiger tees it up on Thursday I’ll be full on raging stauner for the entirety of the trip.

When I booked this trip months ago, I didn’t consider the possibility that Rangers would be playing away in Portugal on day 1 of the trip. The flight I am about to take is unbelievably staunch.
