GAD
This has been a really bad half from Glasgow. Not scored a point, not really looked like scoring a point. Given away loads of stupid penalties and looked toothless really. Sharks well in this.
GordonS
Watched Glasgow, Edinburgh and Scotland women's matches this weekend and the best was the game in Parma. A pot-boiler between two very evenly-matched sides decided by a couple of moments of brilliance and with a nail-biting finale. That's the first time Scotland have ever won in Italy in the 6 Nations. Scotland go to Belfast next Saturday where a win would give them a first 3rd-place finish since 2005, a spot in WXV1 and, best of all, qualify them for the World Cup in England next year. They'll be without Chloe Rollie who was fantastic in this match, but she got bunkered for a dangerous clear-out in the last minute and it's been upgraded to a red. To say Scotland had a better day than Ireland today might be a slight understatement...
aDONisSheep
Best Scotland women's performance that I can remember. Dominant for the best part of 30 mins then somehow seven nil down after 31, they didn't panic and clawed their way back. Skeldon at hooker was simply magnificent and easily player of the match. One squint throw apart, she was awesome, great carries, turnovers, tackles and tough scrummaging. How she managed 70+ mins was incredible! Mattison (sp) at scrum half kept the tempo going very well. Fair play to Italy, they too tried to run the ball, but were just outpowered and outplayed (the score flattered them IMHO). I said, last 6N that I thought this team was coming onto a game, but they've exceeded all my expectations so far. I absolutely love watching them. GAD
See Bradbury has resigned for Edinburgh, which I find a bit surprising as he seemed to be doing quite well down south and seems completely out of favour for Scotland for some reason.
mcfadden22
Mata away leaves room in back row. Selectors maybe take notice if he is playing at Edinburgh. Good player Bradbury
GHF-23
Jonny Gray: Exeter Chiefs' Scotland lock leaves club with immediate effect - BBC Sport Not that dramatic really given he's out of contract in the Summer and is still recovering but interesting. Has the mass exodus at Exeter in the last couple of years been due to financial issues or Salary Cap concerns does anyone know?

Mark Connolly
Northampton v Quins on from Twickenham at the moment. Danny Care leading with the head again, but this time it was on Courtney Lawes rather than some nobody Glasgow player so he gets a yellow.
GAD
When you are looking at Scotland's mentality problems it's quite hard to look past Edinburgh as being a large source of it. A real disaster of a team considering the amount of internationals they have.
Mark Connolly
Karl Dickson, ex-Harlequins scrum half, has just absolutely shat out of red carding current Harlequins scrum half Danny Care for the second time. Care has committed two yellow card offences 5m from his own line having already been yellow carded for head on head contact. Care has now been subbed off after Dickson goes through the world's most mealy mouthed explanation of why he is cheating
Mark Connolly
The guy who came on as a sub for Care has now scored twice
ICTChris
Billy Vunipola has been fined after he was arrested for his behaviour in a bar in Majorca. The England Number 8 was tasered twice by Spanish police when he refused to leave a bar. Which rugby players would need the most taserings to take them down?

My uncle is a season ticket holder and in a way he's quite glad that they've had to ship out a lot of big earners who were internationals. Less disruption during international windows now. Hogg was on more than 500k per year.

GordonS
Yet again the Champions Cup serves us fantastic knock-out ties. It's amazing how often these games live up to the hype. Seven first-half tries in Toulouse and a big second-half comeback.

Presumably he beats them in training, otherwise he wouldn't be taking the kicks. Still weird to see him playing such a prominent role at atop-table club. He wasn't even in the three best back-line players at Edinburgh. Edited May 5 by GordonS
