Part of me wondered what’s the point of playing a team so far below us, but the reality is that if we don’t give them the exposure, the gap will never close and the World Cup will remain full of massive mismatches. However AJ McGinty, who plays for Bristol Bears is their star player. When they beat us in Houston he ran the show. come on shire Posted July 10 Share Posted July 10 (edited) USA shipped 100 points at home to the All Blacks then didn't qualify for the World Cup. Their star player's AJ MacGinty and they're at home, have a new head coach and most of them play in the MLR. They're a step up from Canada so Toony needs more experience in the squad to hopefully win. This team shows this. On paper it's stronger than the team that lost to the USA in Houston yet still balances experience with development.
