andyh
Tennents export lager! Best Thing I've ever bought but goes down far too easy! May I also add, I am not an alcoholic drinking at 6:30 on a Monday morning I'm just in off nightshift! Honest

Derek Patterson
Yet another from the Williams Bros stable. Pretty much everything I've had from them has been glorious. Midnight Sun

Greenlantern
After our victory against the socceroos I'm feeling all patriotic. Just about to crack open & try Fraoch heather ale.

Always found that one a bit meh. Nice enough but totally outdone by the rest of the Williams Bros range.

Derek Patterson
I'll look out for that Midnight Sun. Very fond of the dark stuff. That stuff is tremendous. Curiously goes very well with biscuits and strong cheddar. Also recommend March Of The Penguins and Profanity Stout also from Williams Bros if you like the dark stuff. Kelpie Seaweed ale is class also though not as easy to get in supermarkets.

Just drank a bottle of March of the Penguins for the first time tonight. It was really good. I actually like Fraoch also but have never tried Kelpie. Will need to make a point of buying some next time I see it.
Derek Patterson
I actually like Fraoch also but have never tried Kelpie. Will need to make a point of buying some next time I see it. If anyone has been to the Porterhouse in Dublin and tried the Oyster Stout, it isn't miles away from Kelpie. There's a wee shop just over the Kelvinbridge which seems to have most of the Williams Bros range *edit to add details of the shop. Quel Vin (formerly Oddbins) just next to the Kelvinbridge. Teckle place if you're into trying different beers, Edited August 17, 2012 by Derek Patterson

Aye your right, it was a bit meh, but still not to be sniffed at. A strong cheese always goes well with a cracking porter or stout. I had a large lunch today so thought I'd start with some light ales.
Greenlantern
D'ya know!!! That's weird, I was a baw hair away from picking up some Oyster stout today. Decided against it as I felt bloated.
