What Are You Drinking ?

Do you always have two drinks on the go at once? No wonder you go months of sobriety!

Two minimum. A wine, a lager and a spirit/liqueur and an espresso all to hand is the way to properly drink.

Newky Broon was one of my first drinks in a pub (aged about 15). Clinked bottles with a pal to say “cheers” and smashed a chunk out of the bottom of the bottle. Not wanting any to go to waste I guzzled the rest from the broken bit of the  bottle, horrifying some patrons with the state of my bloodied mouth. Still classier that drinking it from a can though.

It think it was also one of my first pub drinks thinking back. However, I wasn’t a butter fingered buffoon and managed to drink it like a normal person.

(these days, I don’t care)

Apparently, there's only a couple of pubs that sell it on draught. None that I've found in my NE odysseys.
