mizfit
Vault City pear drop - which is great as it tastes almost exactly like the old-school sweeties. It's down as a session sour, but in common with most sours it's acidic enough that I just couldn't envisage being on it the whole night without a f**k of a case of heartburn. I’m bloody fuming I missed out on their Irn Bru one.

I wish I had the space for home brewing, would love to give it a go I've just started and I'm in a 2 bed flat. I have only done kits so far, it will probably take more space if you are doing the mash yourself. I don't know your living arrangements but if you are organised it doesn't take that much space.

Archie McSquackle
A few different beers and finished off an Old Pulteney 12yo tonight. Loving the Hopo and a nice smooth peppery taste to the Midnight Sun.

Thankfully, I liked OG Hazy, so this is going down pretty well. There was a triple hazy too . Few new ones in Morrisons, Northern Monk and Thornbridge DDH.

Le Tout P'ti FC
Found an Overtone dealer in Peebles. Delightful find for a pay day weekend.
tongue_tied_danny
I picked up a few bottles of Efes dirt cheap in Home Bargains earlier. The last time that I had this was on holiday in Istanbul a few years ago. It's not bad but it's not spectacular either. Just a fairly typical imported lager/Pilsner type beer.

Your right, it does the job but not something you’d go out your way for.

Typical of most 'holiday' beers, like San Miguel/Estrella in Spain, Keo in Cyprus, Sagres/Super Bock in Portugal. They can seem fucking immense when you're relaxing somewhere more exotic, or ice cold when you're lying in 40° heat. Don't have quite the same allure at home. Decent enough, but not high on the wishlist.
tongue_tied_danny
Cassels New Zealand Milk Stout Another cheap purchase from home bargains. 99p a bottle I think it was. It's decent enough. The label says they won some best stout/porter in the world award. I wouldn't go that far. I've had nicer milk stouts from the likes of Drygate before.
