What Are You Drinking ?

My son cracks this joke whenever I have one.

I'll tell you what I tell him - Margaret Thatcher died a fearful, confused death more than a decade ago, so drinking her blood is long out of the question. Also, what's left of her ashes must be absolutely sodden with urine by this point, which isn't a nice image to conjure up when someone's trying to have a drink, so please stop talking about Margaret Thatcher screaming into an uncaring void before her remains are defiled. Jesus, it's like you're obsessed or something.

If he'd said that he pished himself because Margaret Thatcher sidled up to him, I don't think anyone would've doubted it.

That just made me have a brainfart about Faith Brown, who's apparently still alive.

I'm kinda sad she wasn't still on the telly by my teenage years.

Very good! An excellent summer beer!

Talking of which:

Sadly not available in Asda (or indeed any supermarket), but possibly the best NEIPA around (only better one is no longer around, Brewdog's Parma Violet one).

I have no idea who Faith Brown is, but my interest has been piqued

Anyone tried the Raspberry Ripple Irn-Bru? I had one and it was remarkably good, but I'm avoiding it now because they'll stop selling the bloody thing if I get too attached.

That's a decent bar there. Nice and close to the train station and does takeaway cans for the train should you wish!

What I will be drinking soon. It was only the glass I wanted as it was on special but postage was the same whether it was 1 item or 16 items

Is that actually nice? Sounds sickly sweet.

Anyway, a pint of Fyne Ales' Jarl in The Raven in Glasgow for the football. I'm a big fan of Fyne Ales and this is going down a treat (pic taken earlier!).

Aye, it's fantastic. The sourness offsets the sweet.
