montheton
Not random, but just wanted to show people what Greenock looks like when the rain stops. Great picture
Fenwick Killie
For those who read (and, hopefully, enjoyed) my football travel blog when I posted the link on here a couple of months ago, I've written about a visit to southeast Belgium in 2017 to see Standard Liège take on KAA Gent at Stade Maurice Dufrasne. Thoughts really appreciated as always. Thanks. https://alasdairmaddensroadtonowhere.sport.blog/2019/11/03/standard-liege-v-kaa-gent-19-february-2017/
Jute
Heading to Spartans v Berwick Rangers in the lowland league tonight. ETA: Finished 1-0 to Spartans. Game was more comfortable than scoreline suggests. Don’t think Berwick managed a shot on target all game. Not the warmest night for watching football. ScottR96
Was at FC Viktoria 1889 Berlin 0-0 Berliner FC Dynamo in the Regionalliga Nordost tonight. A poor game but the home side definitely the better of the two teams. I arrived early and headed for the first gate I saw, which turned out to be the away end. They brought decent numbers and their ultra group appeared mid-way through the first half and created a bit of an atmosphere. They unfurled a banner but had no idea what it said so unsure if their late arrival was in protest at something. There was a minutes silence at the start of the game that was quite poorly observed by the Dynamo fans, but again unsure what that was all about. The stadium wasn’t great. Mostly uncovered terracing with a stand that housed the home supporters. There’s a running track that goes round the pitch so you’re quite far away from the action and separated by fence too. Felt a bit like a slightly more upmarket Cowdenbeath. Weirdly enough, got talking to a couple of St Mirren supporters who were with their pals, a Morton and an ICT fan so Scottish diddy teams were well represented
Craig fae the Vale
BSC Glasgow 6-1 Preston Athletic in the SFA South Region Challenge Cup last night. Home side were far superior and well worth the margin of victory.

Hertha took the lead with a cracking strike but Leipzig were fantastic. First time I’ve seen VAR in action too, a Leipzig penalty for the equaliser. Was only really going to be one winner after that. Cracking stadium, too. Edited November 10, 2019 by ScottR96

Craig fae the Vale
Greenock 2-1 Gartcairn in the West of Scotland Junior Cup this afternoon. Went along since it gave me a game today an was well entertained for my fiver. The free kick that won it was an absolute beauty. Ravenscraig was freezing today though!
CM.
Man Utd 3-1 Brighton. Executive seating which we didn't know beforehand so that was a pleasant surprise. Front door entry rather than turnstiles. Man Utd were really good and created plenty (which they've not done much this sesaon), should've scored 6 or 7. Brighton were alright in possesion at times but didn't threaten De Gea much. Superb view and a better atmosphere than I anticipated given Old Traffords full of tourists
CM.
And while it's not random as such I was also at Leeds 2-1 Rovers on Saturday. Just thought the photos of Elland Road were worth sharing. Atmosphere was electric too.

Scary Bear
Liverpool 5 v 5 Arsenal on 30th October. I won tickets online with Carabao. Saw the team sheet and did the Gary O'Connor face. Some game though. Arsenal young guys up front look like they'll be sensational in a couple of seasons. Arsenal defence is as shite as ever. Tierney got a late cameo appearance. Origi and Oxlade-Chamberlain looked excellent for Liverpool. The young guy Jones that came on did well in midfield too. In defence they were torn a new one all through the first half. Great atmosphere. I would definitely be up for another Liverpool game. Went to Everton’s ground at the other side of Stanley Park the next day and also did the Anfield Tour. Good trip. Would recommend. Scary Bear
Hull 0 v WBA 1 - I haD no idea the English Championship was that poor. It explains a lot about the situation Scotland find themselves in. I swear Raith Rovers play more football. It's basically just a load of big athletes who can hoof a ball. An Big Slaven is a moaning hoor. Spent the whole game pacing the edge of the technical area and arguing with the fourth official. Eednud
First time I’ve paid to watch a women’s game as The Matildas beat Chile 1-0 at a very chilly Coopers Stadium in Adelaide last night. It had been 34C on Monday but perishing last night. Australia missed a penalty and hit the bar and really should have scored 4 or 5. Largest crowd at a women’s game in Adelaide 10,342, almost 2,000 more than Adelaide United game on Sunday, although I reckon that’s tickets sold rather than people turning up as the weather would have put a few off. Loads of kids at the game and more females than males plus a few hundred Chile fans. There are 12 outlets that I know of selling beer in the stadium.

Craig fae the Vale
Upper Annandale 5-2 Dundonald Bluebell in the Lowland Development League at New Tinto Park in Govan.Bluebell took an early 2-0 lead and looked to be cruising, but Uppers seriously upped their game and ran out fairly convincing winners. Cracking game of football. Special mention to the Uppers number 10, who looks like a real quality player and was on a different level from everyone else on the pitch.
Clockwork
I visit Bradford quite often. Even though the The Bulls are shite and are now The The Bradford Bulls, there's still loads of interest. Park Avenue supporters are convinced they are the real team in Bradford and the glory days will return. City seem to be doing their best to get closer to them though.Horton Park Avenue, Little Horton, adjoining the Cricket Ground was a smashing old ground. Still follow their results from the ‘Horsfall Stadium’ though. Shame what the Bulls (They’ll always be Bradford Northern to me) have gone through too, departing Odsal for a tenancy in Dewsbury 16 miles away. Also remember the excitement of going to see the Bradford Barons (Speedway) and the heady days of the World Stock Car Championship Finals at the Rooley Avenue Stadium.
