  1. You get these statements on here a lot - people clearly don’t study past league tables.
  2. Congratulations Binos - well-deserved title win - enjoy the celebrations!!
  3. Don’t think they use Bain’s any more Tam - the pies when I bought one about a month ago definitely weren’t Bain’s!
  4. That’s Spartans in the play-offs from the Lowland, and looking like Buckie or Brechin from the Highland.
  5. Can’t remember Forfar having a shot on target. We had a handful, none of which worried McCallum!
  6. And think they still have to play each other twice.
  7. If Rovers lose it will be a 6 point gap with 4 games left - think they would struggle to pull that back. But it’s going to take an improvement in Elgin’s form for them to beat Rovers.
  8. Think that’s you guys about safe now - you must wish you could play us every week!
  9. What a week for Brian Reid - from beating the league leaders 5-1 away to getting the boot!
  10. Utterly stupid decision by Annan, making fans choose. A fair few Stranraer fans didn’t travel to Galabank because we were at Hampden.
  11. Well, we managed it last night! Even and open first half at a rainy Cliftonhill, capped by Jonny getting his first goal for the club. Craig Ross’s utterly silly pair of yellow cards actually had us depressed, in spite of being ahead, at half time. But a really disciplined second 45 saw us through - some great strong performances in that second half. Result on the night was that Charlie Reilly was anonymous, and I think you need to keep him quiet to beat the Rovers this season,
  12. Major game at Cliftonhill on Saturday - if Rovers win it begins to look odds-on that Bonnyrigg will be Club 42 this season. Suspect this year there’s a good chance that Club 42 will win the play-off though.
  13. On a related topic, how do you get the discount from JD Sports as a Supporters Club member? Was going to say it feels like a secret, but I’ve probably missed something obvious!
  14. Aye, thought that was it - can see why he doesn’t usually start threads!
  15. Quick out of the blocks after last week’s dreadfully lacklustre start, and kept up an impressive tempo throughout. Fantastic finish by Robbo to clinch the points. Rode our luck slightly when hesitation in defence led to Elgin hitting the bar, but god only knows how we didn’t add a second in that goalmouth stramash in the second half. Impressive debut from Jonny Ngandu, and great energy going forward by Matty and Jinky. No failures today and a crucial 3 points headed back down the A9.
  16. Another display at Forfar yesterday which sums up our season: Good passing football, calamitous panicky defending, very few shots which all added up to very few goals and a defeat. When will our players grasp the fact that if you don’t shoot, you won’t score?
  17. No complaints about yesterday’s result - Albion simply had more experience and were more streetwise than us. Mind you, they wasted a fair number of very good chances - final score might just as easily have been 3-0 or even 1-1. Interestingly, we’ve had Mr Luke for two games in a row - wouldn’t have thought that was a good idea by the authorities, his decision-making is all over the place,
  18. And almost impossible to make out the players’ numbers under the lights
  19. Fantastic from start to finish - great energy and determination throughout and what a debut for Aaron Brown! ps - even as a fan of the team that won, the referee was shite!
  20. Hope so, but, unusually, our away form is way worse than our home form this season.
  21. Have Dundonald got a French tie-in now a la Edusport?
