I was told that Allan Fleming was going and we were linked to another goalkeeper from a league 2 side but who knows, would certainly be delighted with Gaston. Agree with you that he is unlikely to get any ex Arbroath players. Denholm actually went to Spartans from us as he stays close by, not sure he's what we are looking for tbh. Luke Donnelly did cross my mind, he seems to be out of contract at Alloa. I trust that Dick/Pink will improve on what we have had over the last 2 years, anything that moves us forward, don't think our fans are looking for miracles, we all know the financial restraints we operate under.

Don't really see the comparison with Stranraer & Albion Rovers. Rovers could score goals for fun but couldn't defend, its the opposite with Stranraer plus if Rovers were inexperienced, Stranraer aren't.

Never a penalty. When we played Spartans at Ainslie Park they did the same, constant screaming for a foul at the slightest touch or tackle.

That was ***** A game we should have won considering the amount of chances we created , against a weakened Spartans side but we somehow managed to lose it. Get this season in the bin, hopefully we can mount a challenge to the top four next season.

Nothing to play for here, maybe Spartans will change their squad up a bit with an eye on Tuesday and avoid potential injuries. Would be nice to finish the season with a victory !

Totally agree 9 games unbeaten then 3 defeats in a row, sums up our season. We need a fresh start.

Last week we were missing Austin, Easton & Lyon. The club didn't give any indication about the last two, you would assume it was minor injury. Schiavone went of injured and Walls returned from injury. Difficult to pick a line up, Dick & Co. may change things anyway, but i would go with : -Fleming- -Docherty-Blaney-Easton-Newton- -Millar-McManus- -Lyon- -Trouten- -Walls- -Shepherd- Would be good to see Austin return to the bench.

The Community club runs numerous kids teams etc, not connected to EFFC

Clyde are playing us at a good time as we have hit a poor patch after going 9 games unbeaten. I would be worried if I was a Stranraer or Bonnyrigg fan. From a Fife point of view hopefully Dick can motivate the group but I suspect some players know they won't be around next season. I read that Fash is back in training would be great if he made the bench.
