When i was transferred under TUPE it was made clear that if i didnt sign a contract with the new company i would hav to find a new job. I cant see how they can force anybody to sign a contract with a newco if they dont want to..and furthermore i'd love to see them try. Most of the players will want out to get some of their cash back that was lost. Sounds like D&P making more suggestions to the bidders to how they 'believe' things are...
-
Well, if the vote happens today then people have this coming weekend to let the chairmen know how they feel about it... I dont agree that nothing will change if newco come straight back in. A couple of hundred of the gates at each non-OF team will have a ripple effect. I remember when Leishman got sacked from the Pars, people left and never came back - this fed into their kids and so on. I've a season ticket at East End and as much as i wouldnt want my team to suffer i'd never attend an SPL fixture again (admittedly that may be out of my hands anyway ) but even if promoted again i wouldn't renew...whats the point?

No Q&A at the press conf??? I'm also concerned that Miller has said he has sufficient comfort from the football administrators to allow him to make his bid unconditional. Thankfully it looks loke the Pars will miss out on the 'big show' next season....sanction free Rangers, coming to a town near you soon!
-
As I've said before, if the Pars stay up and Newco waltz in then my ST will not be renewed. I've already sent a letter (old school!) to the club outlining my reasons why and making it clear that I understand its DAFC that lose out on my cash but I can't in good faith go along and watch a competition that basically allows a 'big boy' to do what it wants and get away with it because they're 'important'...

I still can't understand why Miller would hang about? He's had his bid in for a while now and has watched the admin team prostitute themselves to the BKs to try and come back with something else, surely if they could have offered more they would have done it by now? Given that their role is to try and do the best for the creditors whist retaining a business then delay after delay is only acting to increase the debt and damage any creditors even further? If Miller is the best bid on offer they better hope he doesn't walk away (so to speak) as I would imagine a lot of people owed money would not be best pleased knowing that they lost out on getting more cash back because there was a preferred bidder - despite them not actually being the preferred (or the best) bidder...
-
But you can gaurantee that this new bid will be met on Clyde SS, Real Radio and Sportsound as the second coming. Its ridiculous for them to say that they believe the bid is workable and has few conditions..only to have the conditions be that Ticketus and HMRC (with all the others) accept a CVA and Whyte just walks away... ..will be interesting to see D&Ps response, and also the Gers fans if its knocked back...is Millers bid even 'official' yet?

I think any sympathy people had with the Rangers cause has got up and left the building. Their behaviour and that of the Scottish media (with a special mention for the Daily Record!) have ensured that everyone outside Ibrox doesn't care what happens to them. ..be interesting to see what (if anything) comes out of the courts when D&P feed back to them...
-
..with every comment that comes from Rangers Media and their supporters I begin to lose the little sympathy I have with the 'normal' fan they have..they do themselves no favours at all and will likely end up with even more issues to deal with. The fact that one of the admin guys has now mentioned liquidation in his statement should maybe, just maybe, give them an idea of the severity of the issue...about two months after the rest of us!
-
The BKs will either not come in or they will make a completely ridiculous offer that will be rejected. Millers deal is the only 'real' offer and they know it means liquidation and penalties. All the stuff about asking the SFA is about getting the fans onside, that way he'll have been seen as trying everything and its all 'our' fault that they've had to start all over.

From a Pars fans point of view with Ross Cty winning the 1st its the 'right' team getting promoted in that the crowds we will get will on average probably be the same as this year. Rangers fans can boycott all they want but if we are in a league with Dundee, Falkirk and Raith then we'll get as many (if not more) at those games as at games against Rangers and Celtic. Of course we'll have a financial hit from relegation but with 19 players out of contract in the summer it will be about sensible budgeting, much the same as all the SPL teams would do if 'Newco' Rangers didn't waltz straight back in...the league would survive and in time I think would greatly benefit. The Pars been awful this season and fully deserve to be relegated, the only thing is its almost a reward...playing in a competative league. To be honest relegation will probably keep me as a season ticket holder at East End...i've had it with the SPL.

Having seen the report on SSN the admin team seem to be peddlng the line that they are very confident Rangers will be out of admin before the end of the season. Still cant help but feel that this will all pass over...although if ticketus become a creditor and the big tax case go against them (and the lack of Euro footy next season) then Rangers 2012 might yet happen
-
Surely all this has done is make Ticketus a shoe in for he takeover? If H&D treat hem as a creditor and dont have them as the new owners surely Ticketus will just block the CVA at any small level due to h amount owed. If they dont screw them over hen money will be hoovered out he club for the length of the deal.

From reading the statement from Laural and Hardy I am taking it that their intention is to just not honour the deal with Ticketus and take their chances in court. Anyone else think they might try this one? Stupid thing to do i would think...surely this would result in Ticketus walking away from the Blue Shytes and taking legal action directly against the club/ new owners?!
