  1. McGlynn looks seething, barely containing his rage. His main point which he hints at several times is lack of commitment and being soft touches. In other words Arbroath applied themselves and we went shirked it.
  2. I would have dropped Varian but this is the kind of game that would suit him. Surely a home win.
  3. The lunacy of Fandabydozie and Leech is that the Val McD stand is completely empty of fans.
  4. It's hard to see Arbroath finding comparable replacements for Dowds and Nouble. They could find themselves with the same problem we have, dominating games without taking chances. Pity we couldn't offer them Varian and Poplatnik...
  5. Aye, he seems to habitually have moments of slackness against Inverness for some reason, like the goal last season at Stark's in the infamous Davo - Turdarov game. However, in fairness to him yesterday the ball seemed to take a wicked spin when it looked like going wide.
  6. A great bunch o honest laddies that are a credit tae thur club...
  7. No, we come here to watch Dunfermline's demise
  8. Beelzeub's pentangle is the other way up, two points up top to represent horns and the bottom point representing his goatie beard
  9. Acht I got the prince's muddled up. You mean Randy Andy...
  10. Bob Crampsey, Arthur's sidekick was the most knowledgeable of them all, 'tho I don't remember him commenting on games much. A proper historian, and Queen's Park man through and through. PS - I can't think of any reason why we shouldn't win today.
  11. He was affectionately called Archie MacPhenian in some circles.
  12. My best memory of Archie was him raving about Rangers performance in a televised euro game, while wee Tam McLean kept saying how open Rangers were leaving themselves down their right flank, with Archie ignoring him. After a few minutes the opposition (I don't remember who) scored to put Rangers out - a move down the right flank. There was a New Year micky take sketch about it.
  13. McGlynn in his interview went out his way to point out that he expects Vaughan to have recovered by the summer. I think either Benedictus or Lang paired with Berra works fine, but like others I prefer Berra and Lang.
  14. We'll I'm looking forward to this one, and I think we'll win. The past results are irrelevant. It took a wonder goal to beat us last time when we had a much weaker team.
