  1. Well that went well. Wordle 226 2/6
  2. In the seaside league, markf268 beats the_kid1433 by checkmate. On paper, we both could have done a lot better, quite a few mistakes and a bit lower on the accuracy than my previous game. But I think that was mostly down to neither of us wanting to open up the holding position we had.
  3. You only need to play the one game against each this round, the return game gets scheduled later in the season.
  4. Forgot to add my 3/6 for yesterday to the thread. Wordle 217 4/6
  5. Not German enough for that to be the case
  6. Division C markf268 beats ScoStu1 by checkmate. Delighted to get an opening win against someone that isn't @Frank Grimes. An early fork to take the queen combined with an accuracy I don't think I've ever hit before (96.2) was pleasing.
  7. Breaks at start of the third and then coughs up a really easy break back - not looking good for a comeback at this point.
  8. Actually been a long time since I've posted in this thread - not for lack of running either! Last year I covered the most miles I've managed in a year so one goal for the year is top that again. Recently joined a running club for the first time since the uni club so hopefully the more focused training will take a little off the times.
  9. Likewise was hoping to get to Crissy Fields this year to add an American parkrun to the Polish one I did a few years ago.
  10. ATP website has it as not before 7pm local time (I think that's 8am!) - 2 doubles finals and the WTA final to be played before it.
  11. Younger, yes but as you point much lower vaccinated. Also considerable rates of people with HIV (around 19%) which will likely increase severity.
  12. What is wrong with using South Africa as a comparison? Most demographic differences between here and there would suggest that their outcomes would be worse than ours.
  13. It's technically a UEFA rule - each member is allowed to block out two and a half hours per week. England, Scotland (before the Covid exemptions) and Montenegro are the only ones that use it.
  14. Wouldn't be the first time that the guidance has been slow to be published.
  15. I assume the reason is that the rules were decided before the QoS game was postponed. May not have had many applying for the ballot for that game if it stopped you having a chance for the derby. Could then, in theory, been changed when that game was called off but I expect they didn't want to then move the goalposts.
