  1. Stevie McLean who subsequently signed for Raith playing on an artificial pitch with no change in his fitness. Most of the time, the opinions against them regarding injuries come from footballing dinosaurs.
  2. Clearly more than £22 - which plenty teams in the Championship charge. From the last week for Raith a seat in the horrible main stand at Cappielow would have cost just that.
  3. Not exactly "in the SPFL" though. Most tinpot things in Scotland maybe...
  4. BBC live text has that it was given offside by the assistant (after the now usual delay when VAR in place) - and then checked given a potential penalty if he was onside.
  5. Certainly on world ranking, whoever came out of Europe for it will be the number 1 seed.
  6. markf268 loses to thekid1433 by resignation. Tried to find a clever way out of, at best, a pawn down - made it far, far worse.
  7. On the bench for Livingston following release from Morton.
  8. But that wasn't a league game - clearly no single company has exclusive rights to the Challenge Cup.
  9. Not sure how well or otherwise it works, but have seen a balanced game come up when sending invites for matches - pretty sure it takes some pieces away at the start from the stronger player. Would rely on our chess.com rankings being relatively accurate! I'm ok if we keep going with 960 as well, I'm just frustrated that I'm worse than my mediocre level of regular chess!
  10. I very much dislike 960 - continue my run of losing first round every time! Well played to turn it around.
  11. Division B: markf268 beats XTCR96 by resignation. A couple of mistakes let me in and I was able to trade down until a win was going to be inevitable.
  12. Can normally find an offer for £1 for the first month if you're a new customer as well.
  13. Evening session tonight has Andy Murray playing De Minaur, followed by Federer's last game, playing doubles with Nadal.
  14. I've had some time on the couch this week so picked it back up. On paper managed to pick up my first win in a Daily Race - was this because I was the only one of the top 5 who could actually read the rules of the race and avoided a 1 min penalty? Not for me to say...
  15. I suspect it's not the cameras that are the issue - more the outside broadcast unit. My guess would be that the BBC don't actually own the units that they use for the games and they'll have been taken over for use elsewhere - probably by overseas TV companies.
  16. Suspect they'll have very little option given the language pre-watershed.
  17. Think it'll be event dependant - noticed Crathes Castle was cancelled and I would expect Holyrood would go the same way Pleasantly surprised by that - bring it on!
  18. Seen another couple of events that are going on, but not on the scale of the GNR. Suspect there won't be blanket guidance to call off but there might not be police presence available which would make it untenable. Would be disappointed if that was the case though
  19. Over stretched at one point, looked like a hamstring issue. Tried to play a couple of games after treatment but couldn't push up to serve.
  20. Never before in the Open Era, the men have only done it once before at Wimbledon in 1997.
  21. I'm also doing the GNR - driving down on the day so planning on parking at a park and ride north of the city and Metro in. Hoping that should get me into the city around quarter past to half past 9. Hopefully find somewhere to warm up near the baggage buses as hoping for a decent PB!
