  1. There's a difference between building up to a big derby and the disgraceful overkill they come out with before the bigotfest whilst further undermining the rest of Scottish football. The two clubs and this game are actually contrary to everything the BBC stands for yet it's all ignored, even when it's covered in England, and they actively promote it all. They should be held to account rather than it being accepted by diddy fans as the way it is.

Some top trolling by the BBC this morning as a Scottish Premiership Predictor game is launched on the website, despite this weekend being, what, round 5 of fixtures? It's the exact same format and layout as the English Premiership game which started in the first week of that league. I wonder if the lunchtime game this weekend has anything to do with it. It's like they're not even trying now.

That'll be the one using a Celtic and Rangers Int player to promote it. Well colour me stunned.

That's the one. Hedge was probably about same size but what the picture doesn't really show is the wee gaps near the bottom. Perfect for balls, not so much for decent sized humans.

It also doesn't show the smell generated by the chicken processing factory that wafted over Coupar Angus depending on which way the wind was blowing. Vomit.

Sorry ttd. Don't know how this quote found it's way in here and can't get rid of it. Just ignore it.

I'm pretty sure the fence around the pitch at North End Juniors in Dundee was previously part of the Tay road bridge.

Don't worry I'm sure Neil Simpson will be invited on soon to give his accounts of the day and the years following.

Tongue in cheek but you're actually right. The BBC are meant to present a balanced view so for such a contentious issue they should have had comment from Simpsons side. Why break the habit of a lifetime though.

You'd think after watching Leicester shop in the bargain bin at Aldi and walk the premier league, that they wold stop going on about the cash floating around down there as if it guarantees success.

All it really does is prove English football fans are way out of touch with reality and keeps the England football team down.

Thanks to Mr Murdoch's latest input Aldi are now charging £30 million for a tin of their own brand beans though.

  6. I thought most of these mis-matched friendlies would basically be played in front of a handful of supporters on training or side pitches. However, checking Google for the Leipzig teams following Burke's transfer to RB I discovered this...

    1. FC Lokomotive Leipzig - Records (since re-establishment on 10 December 2003)
    - Record Defeat:
    1–15 v Hertha BSC, friendly (23 May 2005)
    - Record Attendance: Bruno-Plache-Stadion 13,098 v Hertha BSC, friendly (23 May 2005)

It'd be interesting to know what the attendance for the nest home game was!

  7. Had to subject myself to a bit of the bigotry apologist Alan Brazil yesterday morning as Tommy Wright was coming on due to Saints playing Celtic tomorrow. It was even more horrific than expected and I was disappointed in Tommy allowing himself to basically be used to promote the bigot brothers.

It was text book diddy club 'interview' by Old Firm person...you must be delighted Rangers are back in the league...Scottish football missed Rangers...it must be special for a club like yours to be welcoming Celtic and Rangers to your ground...how good Leigh Griffiths was last night...Mark Schwarzer comes in for token short bit about Saints youth set up...tell me about Joe Hart...you've done well at Saints you must want to go to a bigger club...how much do you want to move back down to England...isn't Griffiths great...you're up against it on Saturday against ...bye then...St Johnstone are nicknamed the Super J's.

Schwarzer did manage to briefly mention that we'd beaten Celtic 2-1 on their last visit otherwise there was nothing about Saints. No discussion about Saturday's game. Nothing about Saints start to the season or unbeaten run. The only Saints player mentioned was Stevie May in the youth bit.

Diddy employees really should know by now. It's beyond belief that they consistently let themselves be used as cannon fodder simply to promote the Old Firm at their and/or their clubs expense and the game gets undermined yet again.

Yes, McKeown is a Catholic and a Celtic fan.

To my mind, media figures with a Celtic background are as bad if not worse than, those with a Rangers one.  Look at the ramblings of fools like Burley and Provan.

Basically, they're OF apologists.  They think that the game is essentially about two clubs.  Which of them they prefer, is almost immaterial.

Burley and Provan...and Walker and McInally and Hartson and Sutton and Nicholas and Houghton and Brazil and that's just off the top of my head. Notice any trend?

All died in the wool green bigots with the Old Firm mindset that are paid to comment on Scottish football. It's noticeable that the only two that dare to consider other teams are Hartson and Sutton, the two not totally brainwashed from birth. Little wonder anyone outside Scotland believes only the bigot brothers count. Rangers International own the media inside Scotland, Celtic outwith.

This might just take the biscuit. Minute by minute analysis of Joey "the savior of Scottish football" Barton's debut. It's mind-boggling that the beeb can't find something better to write about and think anyone in their right minds would give a flying f*ck.

It's actually very fitting. Scotland's most disgraceful broadcaster reports on Scotland's most disgraceful player playing for Scotland's most disgraceful club in Scotland's most disgraceful piece of journalism. Perfect.

Just viewed another SSN ugly sisters wankfest where no-mark ex pros from England talk about how Celtic will win the league but it would be great to see if Rangers(?) could push them...

Standard fare and only to be expected. Sky don't cover Scottish football, they punt packages to OF fans and use them to sell advertising. Football doesn't really come into it.
