Celtic have a Scottish...identity,

Glad they stopped that practice. Reserving all the best seats at the back of the bus for one colour was just wrong.

I don't take any flags to Celtic games, pain in the arse when people do it and it blocks your view
Awww, that's sweet and very thoughtful. I believe you.

I'm Scottish, I only support Scotland or fly a saltire.
How often do you fly your Saltire at Parkhead when the Glasgow based champions of Scotland are representing Scotland in Europe?

This new stand is going to be massite.
That's why they had to ruin so many people's homes and live's to build it.

Resign.
No.
Thought not but at least we get good PR for supposedly trying to do the right thing, eventually.

Lead stories on the website tying in with their radio programmes about a non-starter of a subject. It's blatantly obviously just more of their sucking up to Ibrox after their recent lovers tiff. Disgraceful but unsurprising.

Magnificent. Less is more. Not even the dodgy name can spoil it.

I like different but this is awful. It looks like the typical London emperor's new clothes approach where they come up with something quite horrific then dismiss any criticism as being from provincial Philistines. No, London people, it's just another grossly overpriced eyesore.

I'll personally double their target if they keep him locked up.
You can see where he gets his brains from...

From today's extension of the Rangers Media known as the BBC 'Scotland' website Gossip column...
Scotland goalkeeper David Marshall's route back to the English top-flight after Cardiff City insisted they will not sell their captain to West Bromwich Albion after rejecting a £4.5m offer for the 30-year-old. (The Scotsman, print edition)
Dundee United believe they remain at the ahead of the pack to sign Billy Mckay and hope to have the striker available for Saturday's trip to face Ross County. (Daily Mail, print edition)
What makes this worse is that the errors, which could be fixed in seconds, have been there all day. Presumably nobody subs the sub or, more than likely, gives a f**k.

Yet again the English don't know when to use GB, UK or England.

They will be televised, as soon as the BBC find out about them.

It is allowed in Scottish football - even at the top flight level. Clubs need to get a safety certificate etc, but if a club with traditional terracing (eg Queen of the South) got promoted then I'd expect that they would be allowed to use it in Premiership matches.
I would be amazed if that happened.

3,500 in and a real cracker of an atmosphere.
It basically being a derby helped of course but what a difference having a couple of thousand standing on traditional ie killer/unsafe terracing makes. It's a total farce it's not allowed in the Scottish game.

Looks like those pics would be taken from where the homes of the locals who were forced out or had their properties devalued by Liverpool Football Club running down the area so that they could build the stand once stood.

Unsurprisingly, the Valencia Ponty game was played on a training pitch.

one man can't win a game for his team
Cough cough...

A little off topic but I've always been surprised at the fact there is almost no players in England who are off Indian/Pakistani descent but consider themselves English given the massive immigration of the 60s and 70s.

Ah yes, the good old hypocrisy of pc at play again. Racism is disgusting, awful, terrible so we'll fight it with racism but give it a cuddly name to suit our agenda.
I've read black/mixed race managers saying they don't wont it as it's back to the old days of tokenism. However these really caring white people insist on you having it so you'll have it, ok.

According to FIFA rules they have to give 4 months notice, so before Christmas I would think.
And of course FIFA are well known for sticking to the rules.

I'm hoping the Yanks are just holding fire on Blatter until after he's re-elected. I know what they said but they do love a bit of spotlight stealing drama.

I hope the Yanks are good at locating hired computers nobody else can lay their hands on.

That is astounding even for the disgracefully sycophantic mindset of the bigot promoting corporation that we are forced to fund. I loathe them a bit more now, something that I didn't think was possible. On yestedays podcast the build up to the Cup Final contained the line "it's not even the biggest game in Scotland this week".
These are the guys promoting our game.

Brilliant! Weegies complaining that their local radio station, BBC Glasgow, has too much St Johnstone! I've heard it all now.
