I'm a little confused.
As far as I had heard the following had said NO (GIRFUY) already:
Hibs
Hearts
Dundee Utd
St Johnstone
Aberdeen
We now add ICT (well done boys and girls).
However ICT site names them as the fourth side - can anyone please let me know what is happening with this?? Afterall if this goes on any longer
Saints have said nothing official, as per usual. Some nudge nudge wink wink but nothing official.

The Crown Office has today instructed Strathclyde Police to conduct a criminal investigation into the acquisition of Rangers Football Club in May 2011 and the subsequent financial management of the Club.
I'm sure the impartial Strathclyde Police will be appointing Inspector S Lamb to head up the investigation. Would be as well asking Traynor & Young to do it.

If this is the case, I agree that the police should get involved. The prosecuted some young idiot for encouraging riots on social network sites last summer. Are death threats less important?
As I've said before, RM and FF should have been shut down given the amount of law breaking, sectarianism on them. Can't do that though. A number of Scotland's decision makers probably post on them.

As I said before the biggest losers in this whole charade are the diddy teams in the SPL.
If they are then it's definitely a case of beware of what you wish for. It's the diddy SPL teams that created the abomination we have by selling their souls and that of Scottish football to Sky & the OF. If they/we suffer most it's just karma at play.

Normally I'd have put the Record's story down to revenge for Vlad's statement but it's beginning to look like there's no smoke without fire. Add in this hastily arranged meeting for Thursday. That's looking more and more suspicious. Nothing would surprise me in this totally corrupt farce.

but its not almost ideal for the SFL is it? why would Div 1 teams want rangers in the league who are likely to take the 1 promotion space at the end of the season. the extra income, if there is any, from travelling support will surely be outweighed by less of a chance of winning the league.

Sadly. allowing Newco it at First Division level is almost ideal for the SPL chairmen...they are seen to 'do the right thing' by blocking the SPL entry; they then get rid of 11-1 voting and put through any other changes they want; Newco come in the following season and it's only cost the SPL clubs a few hundred thousand and perhaps a play off position.

Don't know whether this rumour has surfaced before ( not got the time to trawl through 2057 pages!
) but have heard stories relating to the EBT scheme that there is evidence to suggest a high ranking former Scottish football referee also had one of these....................................... if this is true then surely it adds another nail to the coffin the clue is in the picture below!!!Anyone else heard this ?
Interesting to think that my own team Clydebank FC "died" as a Senior Football Team in early July 2002 when Jim Ballantyne did his dirty work . If you had told me then that almost 10 years to the day Bankies would be back playing ( albeit in a different guise and at a different level) and the "mighty" Rangers would have gone the way of the dodo people would have laughed

Well documented RFC footballing aspects apart, I cannot stand bigotry in any shape nor form and this, in my opinion, is our golden chance to rid Scotland of our sectarian shame on the football terraces and elsewhere once and for all.
That'll never happen until both Rangers and Celtic are confined to history.

I thought that any league reconstruction had to be done after a year/season's notice? Surely even if there was a will for an SPL 2 it simply couldn't be implemented until season 2013/14 at the earliest.

An excellent few hours. Well done United and well done the fans who held back on the season tickets. Must admit I had Hearts and United, along with Aberdeen and ourselves, as cast iron Yes votes.
That's two down. As suggested earlier, hopefully the others will see the way the tides going and follow suit.

On a different note, our season tickets sales haverocketed from a massive 10 (ten) last week by 2000% (ah thank you Mr Green). Wehave now sold an astronomical 200 (TWO HUNDRED) season tickets so far.
200? Excellent. That's 4 up on last year. The Carruthers-Jones' must have come back from Cannes a week early.

Given that promotion from the SFL to the SPL is by application rather than automatic, I think Dundee and Falkirk should withdraw their applications meaning there's no vacancy in the SFL for Newco to apply for.
