  1. If it's a condition of the membership then I think they will.

It's a massive slap in the face for the Rangers fans and IMO much more humiliating than a 12 month transfer ban or even going to Division 3.

Indeed it is which is why Campbell Ogilvie's SFA wont do it. As has been seen, they have been/are bending over backwards to be lenient on the bigoted cheats. They won't touch the history of their pet club.

  2. My take on it is that the SFA are trying to impose a 'football creditor' rule on NewCo as part of the transferral. The SFA, if they were Ogilvie's lapdogs rather than just spectacularly inept and out of their depth, would surely approve the transfer without discussion. The SFA do seem have been wearing two hats: the first (a feckin' wide 10 galloner now discarded) is that of the financier trying to keep the money coming in and the second (a rather dapper straw boater only lately adopted) is that of the adminstrator realising that the game is up.

My take is that after the last few months they have to be seen to be doing something. However, despite an almighty slap in the face from Green and the CoS, Campbell Ogilvie's SFA are persisting with their unlawful, made up punishment as they don't want to suspend their pet, which is what the absolute minimum they be doing. The only headwear they should have is a judges black cap but instead the RFC baseball cap is to hand.

  3. That's pretty much what the horse-trading at the SFA is to determine. OldCo/NewCo will be a 'merely' a corporate rather than 'football' distinction if the SFA membership is transferred. Transferral will mean continuation in the football sense

Campbell Ogilvie's SFA will do everything it takes to ensure their pet club's history will be welded on to Servco so that 'it doesn't die'. The fact they are even discussing the situation with the bigoted cheats is pathetic and shows little has changed in the corridors of power.

  4. FFS. This is just Campbell Ogilvie's SFA trying to help their beloved Rangers even more.

They tried the signing ban, were told it was illegal and to think again. All they can therefore do is move up their list of actual punishments and do what they should have done in the first place ie suspension. Anything less is a continuation of the old boys act.

    Plus ca fucking change.

  5. I thought Bill Leckie put Andy Jacobs in his place well on Talksport on Friday when AJ proclaimed that Scottish football was Rangers & Celtic only...........in fairness to AJ he did apologise for offending us Diddy teams.

It's actually easy to put Jacobs in his place. He is a bitter Little Englander who knows nothing about life outside London and Chelsea FC. I'd be amazed if he could locate Scotland on a map let alone name any clubs other than the only two he hears Alan Brazil rabbit on about.

  6. Go placidly amidst the noise and haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible without surrender be on good terms with all persons. Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even the dull and the ignorant; they too have their story.

Avoid loud and aggressive persons, they are vexatious to the spirit. If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain or bitter; for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.

Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans. Keep interested in your own career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.

Exercise caution in your business affairs; for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals; and everywhere life is full of heroism.

Be yourself. Especially, do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love; for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment it is as perennial as the grass.

Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth. Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.

Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here.

And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should. Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be, and whatever your labours and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life keep peace with your soul. With all its shams, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful.

    Strive to be happy.

    Go go go...

Not for the first time and probably not for the last, I tip my hat to your musical choice, even though you might not have been thinking of Les's version when you quoted Max.

  7. Daily Record tweet stating that 3 SPL chairmen are in secret talks to let Rangers into the SPL. Sorry if this has already been posted.

My guess is the chairmen's get out of jail card, will be that the takeover of Rangers by Whyte is under police investigation. The SPL will await the outcome of that decision, before they pass judgement.

By the time that investigation is complete, Scottish football will be re-organised, and Rangers will be safe and sound.

And people are treating this as true?

I just cannot understand why people on this thread still treat anything this Rangers & Newco propaganda machine say as truth. They are regularly shown up for what they are, peddlers of lies and misinformation, yet as soon as they put anything out it's posted here and discussed as if it's genuine.

  8. I think this is true. However, the placing of "The Rangers" in Division 1 is farcical and will only inflame the supporters of all Scottish clubs. I'm with Welsh Bairn's suggestion of 3 x14 leagues this would be a much more acceptable compromise IMO . Cutting down time to get to top flight to two years rather than three. I reckon all fans including "The Rangers" fans would buy that proposal.

You reckon wrong I'm afraid. Compromise on what? Rangers have killed themselves through cheating and breaking the countries laws. This is an unexpected break for Scottish football. Unless they take it and let Rangers remain dead, they can carry out any reconstruction they want but Scottish football will be back to the normal duopoly within 5 years.

  9. FFS. Why don't Campbell Ogilvie's SFA just pull the fucking trigger on this embarrassment. They are a disgrace to Scotland...and so are Rangers and all associated Sevco's. How much more bigotry, cheating and corruption are our football authorities going to support?

Sporting integrity? There is no such thing in Scotland no matter what our chairmen are currently saying. If there was, anything associated with Rangers and any phoenix would have been finalised ages ago through the SFA, SPL and/or SFL.instead it's blatantly obvious they are doing everything within their power to keep some form of these b*****ds alive no matter what they've done, is happening and what will be done. That's says it all for me. Enough. The damage has been done. Scottish football - finished.

  10. Sort of agree with that tbh. Any Rangers fan posts, they effectively get hounded out. Loads of hysteria at different times, some of it wouldn't look out of place on Rangers media.

There was a spell when any diddy not towing the party line on here got the same treatment and you threw your support behind them being shouted down. Its hypocritical of you defending the Rangers posters having freedom of speech whilst not agreeing to diddies you disagree with having the same.

  11. I went to an old firm game at Hampden when Craig Moore scored a comical own goal, I was at the 2-3 game at Victoria Park and I also went to a game against Dortmund when Rangers contrived to play them off the park and win.

I know what you are saying, the walk to Ibrox was horrendous, just the most awful swarm of violent bigots, but I still think they'll do a runner if the club/SFA/SFL forces them to.

Belated thanks for the response Savage one. Bloody meetings.

Yep, not nice is it. They'll never change. It's too deep rooted in them. It's why we've got to kill them off when we have this once only chance. As I've said before, we are winning the battle but unless we win the war we'll be back to where we were within 5 years. Imagine never having to endure your experiences again when going to watch a game of football. Bliss.
