  1. I have Crohns and am lucky enough, due to some pretty drastic re-plumbing, to be able to eat whatever I like. Your colleague may be the same. Fazenda is outstanding. If it pisses of a veggie, then all the better. Get it booked.
  2. Wordle 271 5/6 Touching cloth after guess three.
  3. Have you read some of his previous posts? There’s a not a chance he predates 1995.
  4. Falkirk are even money for this. Should one lump on?
  5. Wordle 270 4/6 Bullet dodged it would appear. Clickety click, 66 n.o
  6. I’ll happily join in with the general bonhomie between us and Hearts, if/when we secure top six. Until then, not a chance, hope we utterly shitfest a draw or sneak a win.
  7. Wordle 269 3/6 Thought I was on for a two, then thought I would struggle.
  8. Wordle 268 2/6 Feels like an eagle at the first.
  9. Wordle 267 5/6 Absolute fucking shitshow.
  10. I seem to recall that declaring the season a couple of years ago (whilst obviously the right thing to do because of what was going on in the world) cost us approx 500k, because of the missed games vs Rangers/Celtic/Hearts/Aberdeen. A lot would obviously depend on what games we’d get at home (for TV purposes), and there’s a fair chance that traditionally bigger gates like Aberdeen/Hibs may not be in there, but it’s a good indication of what top 6 can be worth financially. It’s impossible to quantify just how much of an achievement the last few seasons (and possibly this season) have been for our club.
  11. Why, those pesky Greatest Fans in the World *shakes fist*
  12. Could be the mother of all assumptions, but Celtic were in town last weekend. I’d wager it relates to them as opposed to Livi.
  13. Wordle 266 3/6 Looks easy, but the heid took a scratching this morning.
  14. Wordle 265 5/6 Was touching cloth there.
  15. I’d argue that’s probably a bigger result than Dortmund. The Germans have better players than RSB, arguably a bigger name, but by some accounts they have had a really patchy season and were not on form when they met. The same can’t be said of RSB, who are bang on form and caused Rangers all sorts of bother.
  16. So what you're saying is the Lord giveth, and then taketh away.
  17. I haven't listened to Talkshite for quite some time. Tell me, because I may alter my listening later depending on the answer here - but is Jason Cundy still on that station?
  18. The Government have issued a special license to Chelsea meaning that staff are paid, including players. Interestingly though, individual tickets bought before 10th March can still be used by fans. Should they beat Lille and Middlesbrough, I'd have thought that would mean no Chelsea fans at either the quarters of the Champions League or at Wembley in the FA Cup semi respectively.
  19. Are you for real? I know it hurts mate, and I don’t think it’s a penalty either, but the above is toys oot the pram nonsense.
  20. They didn't "explain" anything. They offered up an opinion of the incident given their interpretation of the rule. Same as the ref did. His interpretation of the law is it was a penalty. And therein lies the problem - it's a rule which is open to interpretation, when it shouldn't be. In fact, as has already been posted earlier in the thread, as recently as three years ago it WOULDN'T have been open to interpretation. The law at that time clearly stated that the ball striking a supporting arm would NOT result in a penalty.
  21. Always intrigues me how fans can see things differently. I think we've played worse against Celtic and picked up points. I thought Obileye and Holt were our better performers yesterday. Not that good that they deserved to play on a winning team mind you. I just think that it's the best I've seen Celtic play against us in I dunno how long. Couple of tactical decisions from us that didn't work - Nouble isn't a lone striker, and it weakens the right hand side immeasurably when he's not played there. Re the refereeing - a couple of brutal mistakes in there which, had we had VAR, may or may not have been looked at. I'm not convinced VAR would have checked the corner award before the first goal. VAR would probably have awarded a second penalty for handball against Fitzwater in the first half. The first one, by the letter of the law, is a penalty but it's a crazy law seeing as the guy is supporting himself from falling as opposed to trying to stop the ball using his arm. Mistakes from referees are nothing new, and they happen to all teams. Was it Teddy Jenks for Aberdeen vs St Johnstone earlier in the season where there was a blatant handball before he scored? I find the paranoia around refs really tiresome, and the idea that VAR is going to be some panacea is for the birds. I've no issue with them being criticised though - some of them are just really poor, although it's a job I wouldn't do for love nor money.
