  1. Caught you out lying there. Commensurate with my social class, my wife and I sleep on a stained mattress on the floor without sheets.
  2. I've no idea, that's really a question for the decision makers. However, I've every confidence that with the collective skillset of those involved, the Trust could successfully run the club.
  3. He insulted one of my hats, and that, frankly, is too much for a man to bear.
  4. If the club was left debt free and handed fully over to the Trust with no conditions then it would be worth it.
  5. I think you're confusing me with Santa, or possibly a whole group of Santas.
  6. No, that's actually one of the better things about ICTChris. He really is a bad person.
  7. Absolutely livid that you've muted me. I'm unfriending you on Facebook in retaliation.
  8. The point is that we simply don't need to move. Profiteering for the owners is not reason enough to uproot the club. But, yes, in answer to your final point, the location isn't a good one for transport or local amenities and the proposed multi-purpose facility is frankly laughable. Dumbarton as a town struggles to support its existing commercial enterprises, so shoehorning some more in there and parking them out of the way from the town itself is a one way ticket to a white elephant of Darlington proportions.
  9. 6/10, happy with that as I got the 6 I knew. Never heard of the published, didn't know Kennedy's opponent, didn't know Dr Who. Annoyed at myself for getting the plane question wrong though.
  10. The full proposed stadium will be two stands either side of the length of the pitch, both holding 1500 seats, and a terrace behind each goal holding 500 each. It would be built in stages though, so initially the stadium would only be one 1500 seater stand, or one 1500 seater and one 500 capacity terrace, depending on which story the club tell to which person. And at weekends and midweek the ground will be filled with gym users, 3G pitch users, weddings (even on matchdays), conferences, hotel guests, shops and restaurants and golden shillings will fall from the sky as the collective wealth of one of the 3 most impoverished regions of Scotland is tossed at DFC with fervour. A pointless, unneccessary pipedream.
  11. There's no need to bring Moonster's height into this.
  12. I got married at the Rock and Robert did a fine job with the food, sadly though his catering was overshadowed by his attempt at shady business practices and when I point blank refused to be held to ransom his level of service dropped and his attitude raised. This isn't the place to go into detail, but suffice to say I have met other people who got married there who had similar experiences and our venue decorators had many stories of their own about run ins with him.
  13. I'd genuinely rather invite them and have them not turn up, that way I'm damning them with their own lack of effort, rather than damning them by my actions.
