Our summer business has been diabolical. We seem to be going for quantity over quality and there’s at least half a dozen players we’ve signed that wouldn’t get a look in at any other team in this league. Very worrying.

Honking, reading Lennon’s comments on the website regarding these signings I genuinely think he’s lost the plot.

Hoping we’ve made some moves and just not announced them yet but becoming increasingly concerned as other teams announce signings and the silence from us is deafening.
I do appreciate the management team need a break too but this doesn’t seem the right time if it leaves us scraping the barrel of unsigned pish a week before the league cup starts.
That’s what Duffy did last season for Dumbarton and they toiled all season as a result.

Feels liked we’ve signed more ‘squad players’ than nailed on starters so far which is a worry as some of these guys will no doubt end up being regular starters.

First two signings in with a combined age of 68. And people were worried we’d sign youth players

People get better and improve so harsh to judge him off Clyde too much he’s still a young guy. Maybe he’ll do well. He’lol certainly have the respect of the players straight away. Fans can be too quick to judge and too quick to write people off I think. If you manage to pick up a few of the better players at Kelty you will already have a decent squad for League 1.
He’s also a complete arsehole that will berate players he doesn’t like and burn through 80 players in 3 seasons as after every defeat he bins half a team. The only reason he was successful at Kelty is the money they were throwing around. If alloa give him a blank cheque book to sign players too good for league one then he may appear to do well. But against Brechin it was obvious kelty are a collection of talented individuals rather than a good team.

They have to leave after one season, what tier 6 club would enter on that basis???
You seriously believe that is how it will pan out?

Colt teams 100% but BSC, Caledonian Braves and the Uni teams are there on merit.
Like SPFL 2 the LL should be opening their relegation and some of the clubs you mention will drop down. They are not there on merit at all. When the lowland league was formed they cobbled together a load of shite to bulk up the old EoS sides that joined it. No attempt was made to bring in sides like Linlithgow, Bo’ness etc instead they got newly formed glorified boys clubs like Cumbernauld colts, edusport academy, bsc Glasgow and parachuted them straight in at tier 5.

Just waiting for Rumsby and Wilson now. Kind of surprised we haven’t heard about them but maybe they’ve got offers?
In Rumsby’s case I hope so...

I think we all know what is going to happen here, it seems depressingly inevitable. Should probably stick the mortgage on 0-1 Dumbarton.

Bet Danny is glad he backed 22 games instead of 18 now eh?
What an absolute train wreck this season has been.

If we are safe in 8th by then it’s essentially a post season friendly. If we are already consigned to 9th by the time this match comes around we should just decide we don’t fancy it and take a £1000 hit to rest up for the play offs.

That lineup today is absolutely honking. No howie or Lamont in the squad at all. Three or four young boys that have barely played a senior game and cm partnership of nicoll and mcglinchey. Jesus wept....

I thought Clyde looked a better outfit than Peterhead, Dumbarton, East Fife & Forfar tbh
Unfortunately two of those have already beaten us and the other two could be due a 3-0.
Hopefully common sense prevails and we get to play the games otherwise we are up against it already.0 -
Absolutely tinpot from Clyde.
It’s not exactly hit the levels of being the only match off in the full country after a wee bit of rain though, is it?2 -
The big issue is when these games can be played. Highly likely if its postponed, the other team is awarded a 3-0 win.
How about any midweek between now and May?1 -
Never in doubt [emoji41]

How is Grant junior getting on so far? I was hoping we could get him back on loan if he was out the picture but I see he played the 90 vs dundee. Cracking player, we are missing his Pirlo-esque displays massively [emoji853].

Get this season in the bin.

Question for you bully wee fans, How did you rate Stuart Millar as a coach or manager, he seems to be part of our coaching team and is now in the dug out on a saturday, personally it gives me the fear... Thoughts please
We’ve had our fair share of clowns in charge over the past couple of decades. He was by far the worst.0 -
Clyde 2-0 Peterhead
Cove 1-1 Patrick
Airdrie 1-0 Dumbarton
Falkirk 3-1 east fife
Forfar 0-2 Montrose0 -
They’ll be flying back out when the Clyde fans hear that Dumbarton’s game against Airdrie tomorrow has been moved from Dumbarton to Airdrie because rain is forecast tonight
What a farce, should get our game on Tuesday night switched to Broadwood so we can get it played too. Diddies.-2 -
Can see us planning another postponement there, Stef McCluskey will still be out injured.
Can we postpone until he is fit please?1

Wasn’t impressed with him at all. He headed over from right in front of the goal after Splaine put it on a plate for him. Tried to pass when in a great shooting position another time and lost possession. He doesn’t look like a footballer and his instincts are way off for a striker, on top of that he completely lacks conviction.
