On the issue of Independence he clearly is on the same side as BJ who he's described as "greater threat to the UK than any nationalist" - as I've said a few pages ago I'd have him up here every week.
It's official now BJ is a walking, talking o.g. even his "friends" think so

Actually the Brexit news item I found funniest from the last day or so came from ex-PM Cameron's wife

Still only 33 - good servant for us until recurring injuries curtailed his F/T career.
Looking at that photo @Arch Stanton posted you wouldn't wanna mess with him.
Given his lifestyle I reckon Lemmy did well to reach the Biblical 3 score years plus 10 (just).
Ones that went to early for me are
Phil Lynott
Rory Gallagher
Alex Harvey
Marc Bolan
John Lennon
two possible other entries are Paul McCartney and Bob Dylan - the truth is out there......
I think the first goal also won us the first penalty - both free kicks in the same sorta position the first we won the header the second one of our guys gets pushed over in the same area of the box - definite penalty
Second penalty, there's not a team in the land wouldn't have been claiming for that...
Bit of a result there - Asda were having a ½ price offer on some of their LEGO sets so that's my grandson's birthday present sorted - I was actually gonna buy him either LEGO or some Pokemon figures.
Them & Tesco's Toy Dept.'s can be very generous - I brought quite a few of my Christmas pressies when they were getting rid of old stock back in October!
All that and as I walked there (& back) I got my daily exercise in too...
Maybe so but it was certainly around in late November when the UK government decided to turn London into a petri-dish by putting it in Tier 2 Level of lockdown. That surely has got to be a strong challenger for the worst decision of the pandemic (so far).
By that logic we might as well have stuck with the "non policy" of herd immunity. We're not a remote set of islands like NZ and would've faced far greater difficulties in attempting to impose a quarantine but even so the inaction struck me as being complacent at the time, not just in hindsight.
The gossip is that Quaner will still be unavailable so I'd start with Obika mainly for his energy. I'd also be looking for JG to shuffle the pack to get a bit lot more dig into the midfield compared to Sunday.
Let's get it on...
Um, genuine question.
Moonpig is about to be floated on the Stock Exchange.
Now I know it's had a good pandemic - if you'll excuse the phrase - but how can it be worth
is it just a "that's what people are willing to pay" deal?
Didn't play this game as a cup tie for the 90+ minutes like we did in the previous two rounds.
After scoring Livi were pretty comfortable till we reached the "kitchen sink" stage of the match. Should've made the Durmus/Mason switch at H/T - might as well have lost 2/3-0 there was on GD to defend.
Ooops shoulda read the last page first.
Looks like NI is on the same route as us with a majority favouring a referendum on the issue of independence, the Unionist argument (Arlene Foster) over there being the same as that over here that it's "divisive and not needed" - will an IndyRef in NI strengthen or weaken the case over here?
Ah, the first variation I heard on that joke was Steve Davis swithering over whether to go for the brown or the pink.
In these days of anal bleaching there must be a new punchline.
The Hendrix version of TSSB was not only a musical masterpiece but a political statement supporting the stance that opposition to the Vietnam war was the real patriotic viewpoint - and he did it, as always, in great threads.
Sch...,Sch....,Sch..., erm what is it the Germans call it?
MEPs vote to add Channel and British Virgin Islands to tax haven blacklist.
