  1. That's some result! Taylor and Bobby on fire. Can't wait for the match reports and highlights.
  2. Agree with the general consensus. Not a good performance, but Andy is clearly right that the win is the most important thing. Having said that, if we keep playing like that (and as we did second half versus Stirling) we won't keep the winning run going for long. Of course Andy will know that and will look to address it before Saturday. It seems to me the main issue is midfield balance/quality. Miko has done well, certainly defensively, but we could be doing with someone who can put their foot on the ball, keep it better. In Stevie G's absence Robbo or Scougs deeper seem our best options In that respect. Andy is right again though to highlight the team's spirit and the options he has on the bench. We were talking early on in the season about being very short in attack. Now we can bring on all of Buchanan, Sammo, Roy, LD (and even Coulson if we get team sheets right ). Big shout out to Sammo for his goal. He's not everyone's cup of tea, but he still has a big role to play at the club. Credit to Annan, they played well and have some good players. They are fighting for survival and if any of the team's above them falter they will feel they can stay up.
  3. Jack Ross and Allan Maitland were both articulate, but Andy has that and more. I was talking to Kurtis Roberts' Mum and girlfriend at the game yesterday and they said he's loving being at Alloa (as pretty much all players seem to). Andy and the rest of the older players (Taggs, Robbo etc) are a big part of the reason why IMO.
  4. Agree with both of these points. Kurtis a clear MotM for me yesterday and really good to see Robbo getting a full ninety minutes in, during which he went about his business in his usual quietly effective way. I'm sure he's claiming an assist for Steven's corker of a goal. I thought the defence looked better with Taggs central, it seemed to allow Morgyn Neill to concentrate on what he does best (attack the ball in the air). I'd be happy if Andy went on Tues with the back four which finished the game. As others, including the manager, have said it certainly wasn't our best performance, but we got the job done against a decent Stirling team. Not sure about a couple of Andy's subs, but he knows the bigger picture better than me. I really like what he says in his post match interviews - who wouldn't want to play for him? Cove have been sucked back towards ourselves, Montrose et al and so there are now two places to play for. A positive.
  5. He's Scotland's full back.
  6. @Oweny makes a valid point re our defence, but if Wales and Steven continue their form I'm hopeful we can get the win. Would never underestimate a Darren Young side.
  7. Kurtis is a very important player for us. Especially with Stevie out.
  8. We've completely lost the plot. Need to go back to basics, keep the ball and slow it down.
  9. I asked the question "what can we expect" on the SM thread and got the reply "full backs on toast". I like the sound of that. The other response was positive too, similar to your feedback LoganAAFC.
  10. What can we expect? Fast? Tricky or direct? Left or right sided? Good delivery? Eye for goal? What does he eat for breakfast?
  11. Some of them, maybe, but there are some which are well up for trouble.
  12. Pretty sure you can order one from the club's official website. @LeodhasXD is the expert.
  13. I most admit it looked a lot worse live, and I did have a good view of it. Certainly more of a kick. Ya twat.
  14. While our neds we're being kept in the ground at the final whistle, the police were escorting the Falkirk neds (who looked generally older than our cherubs) towards the town, maybe to stick them on the train? Hopefully that worked, although it must be difficult to completely prevent two groups of c*nts troublemakers who want to fight doing so.
  15. Not sure Shodwall cat does either tbh.
  16. Fair and decent post match interviews from both managers. Kudos to both media teams for making these available promptly.
  17. I'd have been looking for my centre half to do the same thing, but when it's against your team it looks really bad.
