Looks like the squad is coming together nicely with the four additions this week and one or two goalies earmarked. For me the only potential weakness which remains is where the goals are going to come from. Maybe Rodden will get a decent amount, but I'm sure the manager will be looking to bring in this season's Euan Henderson.

Not much to add to comments above. Goalie and a goalscorer are clearly the key gaps we have. Apart from those we are OK, although more quality and a bit more depth would be welcome. Re Ramsbottom, I certainly wouldn't write him off based on that one game, but probably would based on the general view of him. Stranger looked impressive going forwards in the second half. I think he'd be a decent signing and give us further cover/options at the back. Wee Kev showing he's still a class act, even without his goal. Will be interesting to see how the manager fits both him and Taggs into the team, especially given his preference for a back three. I still prefer Kev through the middle and he could play the role Scougs did in the second half. Overall enjoyed the evening.

Huge difference between the pub at lunchtime (OK) and at an evening pub quiz (not OK, baby should be in a bedtime routine from about 6.30pm onwards). IMO.

Would have been happy if Boyd had signed, but not a disaster if he doesn't. Plenty talent and worked hard, but lost the ball too often. The fact he has apparently chosen not to, when everyone else was quickly on board, maybe says something about his attitude?

He starred in the Alloa team that won promotion to the Championship and then did very well at that level. Not sure what ambition beyond that Falkirk have at present?
