  1. The refs and his assistants are mic-ed up, that's how they communicate throughout the game. What if he's, say, 98% sure?
  2. "As officers were ordering the female to the ground a 5-year-old child ran from the woods holding a loaded shotgun," the sheriff said. "Law enforcement told the child to put the shotgun down however the child continued to the female’s location before laying the gun on the ground." Seems normal.
  3. Aye, my true form came out on the 4th and 5th. Thank I used a 4 wood to catch the front of the 3rd, then holed a 30 footer. Haven't played the course since about 1973!
  4. I once started 2,6,2,9,nr at Cragie Hill in the boys' open. First 2 was an eagle (holed an 8-iron). Head went completely!
  5. Has anyone said it's a shite league? I certainly haven't.
  6. Don't think there's any chance they won't. Quite rightly.
  7. If VAR was working as it should, it would be stashed in a lead container and fired into the middle of the ocean.
  8. I'm sure if we could get him Brian Rice would drop everything and drive through to Edinburgh himself to pick him up. I think he's liable to go out on loan (although I know Neilson was quoted as saying that wasn't happening). Normally a player who has done well on loan at one level would go out next time to a club in a higher division, which clearly would rule Alloa out, but we can live in hope that Euan enjoyed it so much at the Indodrill that he's keen to return.
  9. Which season is that? The one where Alloa won ten games on the trot including cuffing two premier sides and he steered a dire St Mirren to safety, or the one where he romped the league with St Mirren, or the one where he took Hibs to their best finish in donkeys?
  10. That's definitely a category that should be added to the BBC stats. Shots Shots on target Shite shots
  11. Also a bit desperate to screenshot BBC match stats to try and undermine an argument, but to have two fans do it in the space of three posts is a particular minter.
  12. I'm sure there are loads of loans available (we have signed two already). The difficulty is getting in quality players who will make us better and in the right positions.
  13. Tom Pidcock blows the field away to win the European MTB championship, despite starting well down the grid.
  14. Part of the reason players are being played out of position is the manager's "favourite" formation of 3-4-1-2, which he introduced as soon as he was appointed. That formation certainly worked well for us last year, with an obvious improvement being two strikers, which better suited the forwards we had. I like the formation generally, but it means we aren't playing with pure full backs, so something has to give regarding where the likes of Taggs plays. If we are playing that formation, then I'd rather Taggs was on the right hand side of the four, with Kev the one or one of the two. Which is effectively what Waspie is saying. We can switch to four at the back when required, as we have done, and then Taggs slots in to his best position. The lack of a good defensive left back then becomes more of an issue. Having said that, I'd rather see us sending what money is left in the budget on a quality attacker (or attackers). Will be interesting to see who we do bring in on loan.
  15. No he didn't. At Alloa, Hetherington's game was all about mobility; pressing aggressively, ball winning, covering midfield runners etc, the role he seems to be playing for Falkirk now under McGinn (as Captain Chugwash and Russ have spotted and explained). Flannigan played McGinn's role.
