  1. Except that while we were in possession Queens weren"t. [emoji6]
  2. Yes, Buchs coming on made a difference. His movement was clever and he linked up well with the midfield. He was certainly unlucky not to start after his goal and performance last week, but the manager clearly had a tough decision deciding who should make way for Flanny. Likewise Kev was unlucky to come off at half-time, even though he hadn't had his best first half, given how well he has been playing in recent weeks. It was, however the right decision to bring Buchs on and someone had to come off. I thought we played pretty well first half and had a chance which should really have been buried from inside the six yard box when it was nil-nil. In fact there were few decent chances at either end until Dobbie scored the sort of goal out of nothing that he can and does. Wasn't sure where our first goal was coming from, but no surprise it came from Trouts with a typically composed finish. O'Hara's equaliser was a cracker. QotS were pretty good today. Dobbie looks back to his best and they were solid all over the park. In particular I liked the aggression and work rate of Pybus, who I don't remember seeing before. Another good, determined performance from this Alloa team and another precious point.
  3. What can you say about this man that hasn't been said already?
  4. Only a couple of things to add to Waspie's and Father Barry's... excellent commentaries. I thought Trouten (as well as Cawley and Hetherington) was excellent in his deeper role. Thomson was poor in the build up to the second ICT goal. Losing the ball far too easily. When Dick and Flanny are back, who will drop out? For me it's Adam Brown (although he's done well the last few weeks) and one of O'Hara and Buchs - either of which would again be unlucky. Two home games in the next ten days and no reason we can't pick up a win.
  5. Interesting piece by Simon Jenkins. Boris Johnson has a deal. Now MPs must end the agony and vote it through. https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2019/oct/17/boris-johnson-deal-mps-dup-brexit-britain?
  6. Still waiting for specifics here. Not that I expect anything tbh.
  7. Is this the first time three brothers have been on the pitch for Scotland at the same time? Peter, George and King?
  8. Specifically what elements of that deal made it a shambles? In your answer, perhaps you could include your opinion of what a normal level of NET profit percentage would be for a similar operation to the retail merchandising of football strips etc.
  9. What an absolute f****ing imbecile this Robbie.. character is! [emoji23] Seriously bud, you are so far out of your depth debating these issues with Sugna (and myself) you can't even begin to imagine it.
  10. I don't believe that's something I want to do in full with all relevant evidence. You clearly wouldn't be able to understand much, if any of it. The simplest and most incontrovertible example, however, is the ongoing costs of the court cases with SDI (which costs Rangers bear) which he had no chance of winning, but still pursued as part of his ongoing kit merchandising specific con/lies and his ego polishing.
  11. You've forgotten costs and liabilities. Levels of revenues and assets are irrelevant in isolation. If I was (still) the financial controller of a business, I would be very cautious about granting Rangers much in the way of credit.
  12. Indeed and he continues to do so. Pretty much anything that comes out of his mouth or in his written statements is lies. There can be no debate about that any longer (if there ever could be). Yet Rangers fans continue to put money into the club, repeat those lies on a day to day basis etc. They've all been conned.
  13. Surely Armand One for Alloa's heaviest? Must have been about four stone overweight when at the club.
  14. We wouldn't do anything that "wasn't cricket".
  15. Indeed. Their attitude and team spirit continues to be first class.
  16. Is there anything sadder than posting a betting slip on social media?
  17. I once started a boys' competition at Craigie Hill eagle '2' (holed an eight iron, head a bit wobbly), double bogey '6', birdie '2' (head about to go), quintuple bogey '9', NR and walk in. [emoji5]
  18. Men against boys today. Gulf in class between the two sides. No real surprise.
